Amanusa, which means peaceful isle, is located on Bali's southern peninsula on a grassy knoll overlooking Nusa Dua, the Indian Ocean and the Bali Golf and Country Club. Amanusa is an unrivalled venue for the perfect Wedding. The arrival porte-cochere leads to The Bar and Terrace Restaurant, which enjoy panoramic views and the cool ocean breeze. A colonnade with the Gift Shop, Gallery and Library completes this entry level. The two lower levels house a Boardroom for meetings and The Restaurant with its lofty ceilings and glass panels that look across a lawn to the main Swimming Pool. An informal Beach Club is located on the beachfront approximately 1500 meters from the resort, and consists of private bales with grass thatched roofs and accompanying sun loungers.

2 Accommodation Amanusa has thirty-five luxury suites offering spacious interior and exterior living areas in gracious and elegant surroundings. Entry is via walled forecourt containing gardens and an outdoor dining setting. The suite contains a combined sitting and sleeping area with a comfortable day bed, writing desk, an armoire containing private bar, music system and television and queen size four poster bed. The adjoining bathroom is a haven of natural light and features twin vanities, indoor and outdoor shower and a sunken bath that appears to float within a surrounding reflection pool. A secluded balcony completes each suite with a bale comprising a canopied roof to an oversized lounging bed. All suites are fitted with queen-size beds, however, the day bed can be made into a comfortable full size bed for sleeping a second or third person. All suites are identical in design and are differentiated by location. A total of seven suites have private swimming pools. Garden Suites have a garden view while Deluxe Suites enjoy either golf course frontage or ocean views. The Amanusa Suite has a private swimming pool and commands the best location. Due to our small property, for wedding parties of 24 persons or more, a minimum number of rooms reserved will be required. For wedding parties totaling 70 persons or more, we suggest to reserve the entire resort The Venue Amanusa rests on a hilltop near to Bali s southern-most point, on the Bukit, or highland. Here, the vegetation is dominated by coconut trees legacy of a huge plantation that once stretched to the shore s sandy beaches. The plantation has long since disappeared, but the coconut trees remain, a band of green below a blue horizon that leads onto the islands of Nusa Penida and Nusa Lembongan. This is the vista enjoyed by Amanusa. The resort is a very popular and relaxing retreat, with its award winning architecture providing a sense of serenity and an atmosphere reminiscent of an age old Balinese palace. Throughout Amanusa is a feeling of space that imbues a sense of luxury and privacy, creating the perfect setting for catering to Wedding parties of up to 150 guests.

3 Amanusa provides several selections to hold your most memorable moments: The Lobby The Amanusa Lobby is the ultimate venue for a wedding ceremony. Its design highlights Bali s natural beauty and the memorable scent of tuberoses, flowers known in Indonesia as, exquisite evening, harmonizes your once in a lifetime event to perfection. For an intimate wedding dinner reception, this semioutdoor venue can accommodate up to 100 sit down banquet guests and 150 guests for a standing reception. Buyout is compulsory to use this venue. The Terrace Located on the upper level of the main building, the Terrace has breath-taking and unforgettable views of the Indian Ocean, the easterly island of Nusa Penida and Bali s spectacular volcanic horizon. This semi openair setting captures the cooling ocean breeze and is designed for a tropical wedding ceremony celebration attended by 50 guests at its best. The venue will accommodate a maximum of 60 seated guests and 70 guests for a standing reception. Apart from that, Terrace also can be an intimate venue for cocktail.

4 Courtyard Framed by towering stone walls and a lush tropical garden, the Courtyard is a stunning open-air setting which overlooks Amanusa s magnificent swimming pool. It is a perfect location for a wedding ceremony for up to 70 guests. This romantic and enchanting outdoor setting is suitable for a buffet or gala dinner. Seating can be provided for up to 120 guests or up to 150 guests can be accommodated for a standing reception. Beach Club Hold your wedding ceremony while enjoying the sunny beach in Amanusa's Beach Club. It is located 5-minute drive from the resort. The Club consists of ten grass-thatched shelters, each with two sun loungers. The sand beach is one of Bali's best and is protected by a fringing coral reef. As ceremony and dinner reception venue, Amanusa beach club can accommodate up to 150 pax.

5 Activities Amanusa s location provides a vast choice of activity options. The Beach Club is located on Bali s best white sand beach, protected by a coral reef offshore, and includes nine lounging shelters with accompanying sun-beds. Sporting pursuits include tennis at Amanusa s open courts and cycling. Golf may be enjoyed at the adjacent Bali Golf and Country Club, water-sports and diving facilities at nearby Tanjung Benoa. The shopping and nightlife areas of Kuta, Legian and Seminyak are approximately 30 minutes drive away. A little further afield is rural Bali. The hills of Ubud, the volcanoes and submerged crater lakes of Bedugul set the scene for adventures such as white water rafting, trekking, mountain biking, kayaking and off road exploration and tours. Amanusa takes great delight is showing you the traditional Bali, small villages, temples and ceremonies well away from the tourist track and has its own fleet of vehicles and trained drivers at your disposal.

7 Marriage Documents, Religious Appointments and Balinese blessings Legal Wedding:» The Orchestration of a legal wedding is possible in Bali. Referral to wedding agents can be organized through the hotel.» Advance notice of wedding arrangements is required by the agents, as application to the appropriate Government Offices and Consular Services for the legal formalities will require time.» On the day of the wedding, the Magistrate and the Religious Minister will be present. The ceremony will last around 30 minutes with declaration of intent and the exchanging of vows. Two independent witnesses are required; these can be arranged with the wedding agent if friends of the wedding couple are not present. Non Legal Wedding :» The priest can be arranged through the hotel. This is not a legal ceremony and therefore does not require legal procedures. However advance notice is essential in order to make arrangements for a local protestant priest.» Alternatively, a Balinese Wedding blessing can be arranged with a local Balinese priest. Advance notice is also essential in order to make arrangements with the priest and the preparation of offerings.

We can also assist in arranging for dance music bands.» Rindik Music (3 hours) Trio of musicians play the flute and bamboo gamelan instruments, gentle background music.» Gender Music (3 hours) Four ten-key, slendro-tuned metallophone played with mallets and traditionally used for ceremonies.» Semar Pegulingan (45 minutes) A seven-tone pelog (tuning system) ensemble with a repertoire derived from the Gamelan Gambuh an ensemble that is comprised of large flutes, rebab (two-stringed bowed instrument), and percussion. A variety of traditional classical dances may accompany the orchestra upon request.» Barong Ket (60 minutes) A mask and costume resembling that of a Chinese lion, animated by two men, one manipulating the mask, the other the hind end. The Barong performance is the expression and celebration through theater of the whole complex of Balinese mythic and religious world.» Kecak Dance (30 minutes) A vocal chorus & dance performance by men with movements and sounds in interlocking patterns that use the syllables cak (chuck) and char to create a dramatic effect.» Jegog (60 minutes) Balinese musical ensemble comprised of bamboo tubes almost 3 meters in length and with a circumference of centimeters. The size is so big that the musicians must sit on top of the frame of the instrument in order to play it. Jegog produces one of the most powerful and impressive music in the Balinese repertoire.» Trio or Quartet Singers (3 hours) Batak singers usually of 3 or 4 vocalists singing a wide range of harmonies, accompanied by guitars and double bass.

11 Pre-payment Policy A pro-forma invoice will be prepared including accommodation, food, decorations and entertainment. To guarantee the booking, a 10% non-refundable deposit on total room accommodation value, plus tax and service charge, is required upon confirmation. A further 50% will be required 60 days prior to arrival and the balance (40%) including pre-arranged food and beverage is payable 30 days prior to arrival. All other additional food and beverage consumption, as well as other expenses, must be settled prior to departure from Amanusa. Any cancellations occurring within 60 days of arrival are subject to full forfeiture of deposits paid. Cancellations occurring outside the 60 day cancellation period will forfeit the 10% non-refundable deposit. For all pre-arranged food and beverage, unless otherwise notified in advance by the CLIENT, the HOTEL shall provide services only for the guaranteed number of guests requested by the CLIENT as stated in the preceding paragraph. For convenience sake, the CLIENT shall notify the HOTEL in writing, at three days before the function date of the decreased number of guests to be served. In any event, the CLIENT agrees to pay for the contracted guaranteed number of guests notwithstanding the fact that the number of guests actually served is less than the contracted guaranteed number of guests, and should the number of guests actually served exceed the number of guests guaranteed, the CLIENT agrees to pay the charges per guest for the additional guests to be served over and above the guaranteed number. In the event of any natural disaster (force majeure) a 20% non-refundable deposit will be taken from the total invoice. Or this 20% will be credited as a deposit towards any future function. No other cancellation fees will apply.
