1 How to Activate and Gain Access to your Macmillan ebook This guide will walk you through the process of activating your Macmillan digital ebook using a computer (PC or Mac). After purchasing your ebook through Campion, you will receive an very similar to the image shown below. This will provide you with the product you have ordered, your digital activation code required to gain access to your ebook, and instructions on how to successfully activate. To begin the process of activating your code, please follow the URL in your . For reference, this should be Page 1

2 You should be greeted with the following page in your web browser: If you have an existing account (i.e. you have used Macmillan OneStopDigital in the past), then you can login by entering your details at the top of the page. Otherwise, a new account will need to be created. To begin, click on Create an account. You will see the following: Please enter in your Access Code in the first box; this is the code sent through to you in your from Campion; and in the second box simply type in the letters in the image you are given. This will be different for every user and is for security purposes. Simply click Continue to continue. Page 2

3 If you have entered in the code incorrectly or have received a faulty code, you may see the following screen: If you are greeted with the above screen, please confirm that the code you have entered is actually correct or not. If you are certain that you have entered in your code correctly and are still receiving this message, please contact our Campion ebook helpdesk at [email protected] and provide your student name, school, and your Macmillan username and password should you already have an account. Once your code is accepted by Macmillan s website, you will then be asked if you already have a Macmillan student account. This may be the case if you have used Macmillan ebooks in previous years, otherwise please follow the link next to Don t have an account? in order to continue and create your Macmillan account. 4 You will then be presented with the following form: Enter in all appropriate details. Given/Surname: Username/ address: Password: Country: Enter in the student s first and last name Enter in the student s address Enter in a minimum of eight (8) characters and preferably with at least one upper case, one number and one symbol Australia Click the checkbox indicating you have read and understood the Terms & Conditions and click Continue Page 4

5 After clicking continue you will be asked to confirm the product you are activating. Simply click confirm. The following message will appear: As advised, you may need to wait up to one hour before you will be able to access your product. You have now successfully activated your ebook. If you have additional Macmillan ebooks to add, this can be done by first clicking Redeem token at the top of your screen and then entering any additional Access Codes. To view your product(s), enter your login information at the top of the home page and click sign in. Page 5

6 Additional options will now appear at the top of the screen. Select My subscriptions to continue. This section will show you every item you have activated with Macmillan. As you can see below, we have only activated the ScienceWorld 7 AC and as such this is the only item in our library. Simply click the Launch button underneath the relevant text to view your ebook. As noted, they may take up to an hour to appear within your subscriptions section. Page 6
