1 Alessio Vidal Photographer and photo Ad Astra Comunicazione alessio@alessio-vidal.com Summary I am a professional photographer and a digital retoucher based in Venice. Working as freelance, I can take part in many different kind of (photographic) jobs, from fashion to high-end retouching, from still life to weddings. During my prof career i've had the opportunity to work in collaboration with several famous photographers, enriching my knowledge and improving my techniques in every area of my job. I have good attitude in work and in life: decisive, proactive, creative, careful, respectful and always grateful with people who gave me a chance. Experience Photographer and Photo Editor at Ad Astra Comunicazione febbraio Presente (2 anni 3 mesi) Working as freelance I met many people. Some of them became part of my life as friends and colleagues, when we decided to found Ad Astra. In Ad Astra I take care of communication area, I'm the first photographer and the photo editor. Photographer at Freelance gennaio Presente (2 anni 4 mesi) I'm the co-founder of Ad Astra Comunicazione & Matrimoni, but as well I collaborate, whenever I can and I have the chance to, with other professional photographer as assistant. At the same time I follow a group as photography teacher. Light Assistant at D Movie marzo marzo 2015 (1 mese) This was officially the first time on a set for a movie. It has been a good chance to learn something new and familiarize with a different kind of equipment. In particular, I helped as light assistant and collaborated closely to the director of photography. 90% of video shoots were taken during the night, once again something very different from what I am used to do. And for this, a great opportunity to acquire new knowledge and professional growth. Assistant Photographer at Art + Commerce febbraio febbraio 2015 (1 mese) Hired as local assistant photographer, I did my very best assisting the swiss photographer Walter Pfeiffer in shooting some portraits for Okwui Enwezor, Venice Biennale 2015 curator, for W Magazine. 2 Assistant Photographer at Benetton Group luglio luglio 2014 (1 mese) Another good experience with Cass Bird Studio (NYC), this time in Rome, for Benetton S/S Once again, it's a true pleasure working with an american staff: they are always extremely professional but, at the same time, they make you feel comfortable and part of the group. Assistant Photographer at GPD Advertising maggio maggio 2014 (1 mese) I worked with a spanish-polish team for Lidl ADV in Venice. I worked in two different sets at the same time, as photo assistant in one and light director in the other. Assistant Photographer at Louis Vuitton giugno giugno 2013 (1 mese) I took part in the biggest work of my life, "Invitation au voyage" - adv for Louis Vuitton. Hired as local assistant photographer for David Sims, it did almost everything (with other assistants): I realized that in a huge work like this, is necessary to be ready to do anything, roles does not exists. Be productive, proactive and useful is the key that always let me to do a good job. Assistant Photographer at J.Crew giugno giugno 2013 (1 mese) My first experience with Cass Bird Studio and with an US team. I took part in the creation of the J.Crew catalog. It has been an amazing chance to work with a huge group which allowed me to learn a lot for the professional attitude of both teams (Cass Bird Studio and J.Crew). Lighting Director at ò Boticario marzo marzo 2013 (1 mese) Hired as lighting director, I followed the french photographer Christophe Rihet in a venetian gondola. Due to the very small size of our boat, I "invented" a fun way to light model, using a stick like a fishing rod. Photographer and retoucher at Controluce srl gennaio febbraio 2013 (2 anni 2 mesi) This studio was my very first professional experience. I worked here for two years, assisting in a first period, shooting as first photographer later. I learnt how a professional studio works, from camera (large and medium format) to light equipment. I basically took part in still life pictures, some times shooting on film too. Most important customers: Faber Kitchens (still life catalog) Mattia Cielo (still life jewelry) Bottega Veneta (still life catalog) Pernod Ricard (adv 2012 for Amaro Ramazzotti) Assistant Photographer at INSPIRE magazine luglio luglio 2012 (1 mese) I took part in this editorial for Inspire magazine, assisting Nicole Nodland (UK). It has been my first experience in an international set, and it was a great chance to grow up. Page2

3 Receptionist at S.E.I. srl ottobre giugno 2011 (2 anni 9 mesi) I worked as receptionist for years in this 3*** hotel in Venice. The most useful period of my life to improve my english and, even more important, to earn money to pay my studies in photography. Geoscienze) febbraio 2015 Autori: Alessio Vidal In collaboration with the province of Treviso and the department of Geosciences (University of Padua), I made a huge serie of pictures (mainly landscapes), then published into the book "Geomorfologia della provincia di Treviso".
