2 Aim of the conference The Third International Conference will focus on issues linked to the two main focus areas of the AMI 4EUROPE project, namely on establishment/development/operation of thematic clusters as well as on medical imaging. The conference which will attract stakeholders from all over Europe aims at discussing interesting and emerging aspects of advanced medical imaging which is a rapidly developing scientific area. Clusters which are geographic concentrations of interconnected businesses, suppliers, and associated institutions are well known and proved well working cooperation platforms that s establishment, development and operation is supported and facilitated both at national and international level. The AMI 4EUROPE project aimed at supporting the establishment of thematic clusters in the area of advanced medical imaging which has finally been implemented in Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as in Romania. The event is the last of the three biggest communication events intended to dissemination of the project results and to obtaining feedback from the stakeholders regarding the outcomes of the AMI 4EUROPE project. It is also important to emphasise the effect of standardisation on a successful clinical study. In this section we would like to describe the difference of functional and morphological imaging in evaluation of the efficacy of the therapy. Furthermore we will show the novel probes/imaging methods which will be promising in personalised risk adapted therapy.
