8 Conclusions 1 CONCLUSIONS ON MAIN TRAINING AREAS OF INTEREST Demand for training activities is well balanced by provision regarding the type of technology, BUT imbalanced regarding the level of training activity a significant request for training activities on advanced level a significant request for training activities on standard techniques Specific request for establishing additional training activities in Super Resolution Microscopy, Correlated Light and Electron Microscopy, Single Molecule Imaging Techniques, Single Plane Illumination Microscopy 7T MRI, MR-PET, mmri-pet, Physiological Modeling, Technologies and Instrumentation for Image Guided Therapy Note: Higher demand for the most innovative techniques is not always based on real necessities of operational practice

12 Conclusions 2 CONCLUSIONS ON PREFERRED TRAINING SCHEME General preference for both theoretical and practical face to face courses or workshops, which coincides with most commonly existing training activities scheme. When analyzing the preferences by years of experience, there is a higher tendency towards online resources in the younger generations. Note: Training office activities under EuBI framework should preferably focus on providing face-to-face training schemes
