1 Minutes of the Canobolas Four Wheel Drive Club General Monthly Meeting held on Sunday 13 November 2011 Toperi Park, Borenore. Moved by Anthony Seddon, seconded by Matt Holgate - accepted. 1. General Business 1.1. Toperi Tough Dog Challenge Insurance Glenn informed the meeting that the matter of Insurance has been resolved. Insurance covering Officials organising the event through CCDA has been secured as long as all Club members are CCDA members. ACTION Club to pay for CCDA membership for all Canobolas 4WD members and that on Friday 25/Saturday 26 November all members sign membership paper work Sponsorship Glenn advised that the Club Sponsors for 2011 Toperi Event and 2012 Club year are Tough Dog, Snake Racing, Opposite Lock / TJM Orange, K & A 4WD and Lukey s 4X4 Customs. 3 Toperi Tough Dog Challenge Cont. DVD. Dave Chapman informed the meeting that his son, Marcus will film and produce a Toperi 2011 DVD Toperi Shirts Matt Holgate advised that the slogan for the 2011 Toperi Tough Dog Challenge is Bustin stuff since 2008 Publicity Win TV will do a story promoting Toperi on the news Communications Matt Holgate has secured 15 hand held 2ways for the event, spare batteries are required. Spectator Entry Tony Richards advised that he has 1000 wrist bands Power Peter White - Toperi generator working on obtaining one, possibly need to hire one from Dubbo due to shortage in Orange with Cadia Valley Operations shutdown. Jimmy to tow one down from Dubbo if required. Toperi Donation Greg Simpson advised the meeting: o Borenore Men s Shed CWD Tuesday o Borenore School donation made with story to appear during the week o Ronald McDonald House aim to have a story in media this coming week. o Nathan has completed poster and flyers for distribution 1.2. Club Clothing Glenn advised that new collars have been ordered for polo shirts 1.3. Club Banner and Stickers Gavin Hillier advised that the Club banner and stickers are ready to be collected from Orange Clothing Co 1.4. Club Funding a trip It was proposed and unanimously agreed that the Club fund the catering (food and beverages) for the Dunns Swamp Camping trip Club Website Dave Chapman mentioned that the Club website has Glenn s name but Gordon s mobile phone number as the contact will be corrected after AGM 1.6. Xmas Party 16 December 2011 Katrina Gosper suggested that the Club hold a Xmas function at the Tenpin Bowling alley and that the Club pay for food and bowling. Page 3 of 5
