JCU is a smaller and more intimate university with a family feel to it. The staff genuinely care about student well-being and that, combined with the warm and friendly environment, enriched my university experience. As part of the course I travelled to New York, Berlin, Wurzburg, Paris and Italy and have acquired knowledge and skills beyond what is delivered in subjects. After I complete my Honours, my goal is to do a PhD. During the journey I have had job opportunities which support my studies, and I am very fulfilled pursuing further research and practice in the Creative Industries.
