The Office also provides support to other Schools within the university to increase their accessibility to people. If you receive an OP 1-6 or equivalent and meet subject prerequisites, you are guaranteed a place in this program Logan Gold Coast Nathan Gumurrii Student Support Unit Through the Direct Entry Program GUMURRII Support Staff can assist you in determining the appropriate course of action for university study. As a mature age person, individual life skills and transferable work experiences may have provided individuals with adequate skills and experience to undertake academic study. Credit can be obtained based on recognition of studies from a previously completed or partially completed program or qualification, and recognition of prior learning, including study undertaken in recognised tertiary institutions in Australia, including universities, colleges, TAFE and other post- secondary education institutions credentialled programs provided by recognised professional bodies, employers and other authorities, where appropriate certification is available demonstrable expertise relevant work experience and professional development activities informal learning acquired through life experience 1

Support also includes 24- hour computer lab, textbooks, free regular workshop sessions targeting better study skills, exam preparation, social events, opportunities in the Ambassador Program, casual employment opportunities on programs like the annual Roadshow, and facilitation of access to academic advisors and student admin. Direct Entry Program to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people seeking university admission. The program is designed for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander school leavers and mature aged people who have not obtained or completed university entry- level courses or TAFE bridging programs. Indigenous Health Careers Access Program: an alternate entry pathway into a degree for students where they may not be successful in gaining an offer through mainstream QTAC/Admissions processes. Queensland University of Technology at Kelvin Grove Campus only Kelvin Grove only Kelvin Grove Caboolture The Oodgeroo Unit is the centre of QUT s activities in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander education, studies and research. The Unit provides assistance to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to enter university; offers students academic, personal and cultural support; conducts academic research in Indigenous studies, knowledge and Entry Programs The Oodgeroo unit run the Centralised Assessment and Selection Program (CASP), which is an alternate entry pathway for prospective students. (Must apply through QTAC, place QUT in their top 3 preferences 2
