2 The History & Vision behind the Keyano College Foundation The Keyano College Foundation was formed in The people involved in the inception of the College had big plans and they recognized additional support was required. The Foundation quickly became a key part of both the College & the community. The role of the Keyano College Foundation is wide-ranging. This year s Golf Classic Banquet will be sure to include jaw dropping displays and will showcase ESS First North Catering s effortless catering abilities and expertise! was recently honored at the annual Oil Sands Chef Masters Competition taking top honors for two dishes and being rewarded for his professionalism and leadership in the kitchen. Teams from Suncor Base Plant, cnrl, Syncrude & Albian competed in this fun event held in conjunction with the annual Lobster Boil. Each of these teams were tasked with creating two appetizers without knowing their ingredients prior to the competition. -3-

4 Let us Welcome You to the 2014 Keyano College Foundation golf Classic The annual Keyano College Foundation Golf Classic is Fort McMurray s most prestigious golf tournament, taking place at the Fort McMurray Golf Club. Two hundred and forty eight participants get to enjoy this beautiful course nestled along the banks of the Athabasca River and carved out of the Boreal Forest; they also experience a pleasurable interactive day with inspired challenges and fun-filled activities. The Golf Classic is topped off with an exquisite banquet hosted by our presenting sponsor for eight years running; ESS First North Catering. Highlights of the event include a poker challenge, the Sky Drop Contest, live auctions, and of course many prizes and giveaways. June 6 th, 2014 at the Fort McMurray Golf Club Kick off the weekend with a casual reception surrounded by friends and colleagues. There will be hole prizes, draws and challenging fundraising activities at designated holes throughout the course supplying you with many chances to win throughout the day! This will ensure we display proper recognition for your company throughout the event.
