4 ATO guidelines n valid tax invices can be dwnladed frm the fllwing website. A valid tax invice is a dcument that meets all f the fllwing requirements: it is issued by the supplier, unless it is an RCTI (in which case it is issued by the recipient) it cntains enugh infrmatin t enable the fllwing t be clearly identified the supplier's identity and ABN a brief descriptin f what is sld, including the quantity (if applicable) and the price f what is sld the extent t which each sale is a taxable sale - this can be shwn separately r, if the GST t be paid is exactly ne-eleventh f the ttal price, as a statement such as ttal price includes GST the date the dcument is issued the amunt f GST (if any) payable fr each sale if the dcument was issued by the recipient and GST is payable fr any sale - that the GST is payable by the supplier that the dcument was intended t be a tax invice r an RCTI if it was issued by the recipient. In additin, if the ttal price f the sale is at least $1,000 r if the dcument was issued by the recipient, the recipient's identity r ABN must be able t be clearly identified. Yur advertised price shuld be TAX-INCLUSIVE. RCTI In sme cases [eg farmers], a Recipient Created Tax Invice [RCTI] will be created by the receiver f the gds rather than the supplier. 7 Let s practise sme Custmising Techniques [ptinal tpic] Befre custmising yur invice, yu will practise sme custmising techniques. (i) (ii) In the Sales Cmmand Centre, select Print/ Invices. In Advanced Filters, check that the Sale Type selected is Service. Yur Advanced Filters will lk like this. Yur Invice will be printed n whatever default invice is selected here r selected in Selling Details n the Custmer s Card. (iii) Click n the Search Icn t the right f Pre-Printed Invice t display a list f invices available. (iv) (v) Pint t INCSIPLN-2009 and duble-click. [This is the invice yu are ging t custmise.] Select Custmise. Yur windw is displayed n the fllwing page.
