Capsticks Social Enterprise team has been totally immersed in the creation, development and support of social enterprises for the last five years. We helped create the original social enterprise blueprint for community health services borne out of PCTs. Since then we have advised many others on their inception, including Medway, Bromley, Central Essex Community Services and Anglian Community Enterprises and continue to advise and support them as they develop. We are also helping commissioning businesses set up social enterprises from within PCTs and we are helping audiology and psychology services establish themselves as separate organisations from within NHS trusts. We have worked on strategic health authority led projects to develop social enterprises to support people with chaotic lives and on council led social enterprises such as social work pilots and integrated adult social care with community health. Most recently we have been working with a fire authority to look at re-creating their fire brigade as a social enterprise. Our work is innovative and cutting edge.
