No other manufacturer has such a comprehensive product set to match us. In shipboard applications that require that the cable only be low smoke zero halogen (LSZH), ABS type approval will break any ties. The copper cables are all rated to NEC/CEC CMG-LS, FT4 and the fiber cables NEC OFNR, CEC OFN FT4. The European cables are LSZH and certified by Germanischer Lloyd as applicable. What Markets will this product serve? The new products can be used in several shipboard market segments including Cruise Lines, Yachts, and Merchant Marine. Some riverboat casinos and off-shore drilling platforms may also choose to go with ABS type approved cables. Of course they can also be used anywhere that Low Smoke, Zero Halogen is specified. VFD plus Signal Pair for Brake develop The construction allows for one pull rather than two pulls while also providing higher durability for the Signal Pair with both cables under one jacket. The Signal Pair can be used to stop Drives quickly in braking applications for safety reasons rather than having the motor coming to a rolling stop. The shielded burial cable uses a unique water blocking gel technology that is much more installation friendly than the typical water blocking greases. 5 from page 4 5. Digital Composite Camera Cables develop these products? NP248 Belden s current product (1263B) is an analog cable and cannot be used with digital ENG cameras. The new Brilliance camera cable can be used to connect any digital camera regardless of the format. The coaxes are sweep tested out to 4.5 GHz to cover any digital format. The pairs feature bonded Beldfoil tapes to reduce termination time. The overall Matte PVC jacket makes the cable extremely flexible and easy to deploy. What Markets will these products serve? Belden s new camera cable is used in the mobile broadcast truck market. The cable connects the Digital camera to the broadcast truck in news gathering and field production applications. What is the part number and description? 1347A features two industry standard 1505A coaxes and four 9451 twisted pairs cabled together and an overall rugged and flexible Matte PVC jacket. The coaxes are used to transmit video and the pairs are used for Mic, IFB and control. Sales for a copy of New Product Bulletin High-Density Modular Racking Systems NP247 develop Networking installations are increasingly demanding higher density products and solutions. Having many connections in close proximity to one another affects overall system performance and makes the installation and management of cables and patch cords a very difficult challenge. Belden s High-density Modular Racking System solves these issues. The system is designed to support the highest density 1U, 48-port patch panels and provides for proper routing of cables and cords without compromising the performance of the overall system. Beyond installation, this versatile and flexible racking system allows for proper management of moves, adds and changes. High level of modularity: This hallmark feature of Belden s racking systems is enabled by ease of removal or movement of components, as well as by the wide selection of components we offer. The completely interchangeable cable retention gates, doors, fingers and accessories allows the system to be adapted to specific customer needs. Vertical manager part sets: Each vertical manager configuration includes a complete set of necessary basic components, including doors (on high-density managers), gates, push-in fasteners, cable strap mounts, cable retainer bars and mounting hardware. Modular, removable finger sections: Available in high or low density. For high density, these come in handy 11U high sections and screw into a vertical manager. Unlike analogous items in the marketplace that come as part of a complete molded plastic strip running the full height of a manager, Belden s finger sections can be conveniently taken out during reconfigurations. On the high-density manager, the fingers are aligned with the rack units, allowing for patch cords to be routed directly to the vertical manager. This eliminates the need to use a horizontal manager, a great space saver. System scalability: The new Belden system is very easily reconfigured and modified to handle future system growth, add-ons, or changes. Mixed media application: Belden s new racking system is designed to handle both copper and fiber structured cable networks. Any-point-to-any-point routing capability: It s easy to route your cable from a given patch panel to another panel within the same rack, to the back of the rack, or to an adjacent rack, while still maintaining the proper cable bend radius. What Markets will these products serve? Any network installation where high-density is needed. Specific applications include Data Centers. What is the part number and description? Unlike Interlocked Armor, Continuous Armor is impervious to water while still providing added protection in harsh environments. ER Rated Cables process The National Electrical Code (NEC, 2005) provides an easier method of extending cables out of cable trays. Originally restricted to using Metal Clad (MC) cables or metal conduit to run cables from trays to utilization equipment in any distance over 6 feet, the 2005 Code permits the use of UL Exposed (ER) compliant cable. advantages that this product bring to the market? Installations of cables from trays will be much easier by eliminating the need of bulky and inflexible conduit or metal clad cables. This will allow for cost-effective and quicker installations.
