4 Cathodic Protection cables Cathodic Protection Cable (CP Cable or CPC) is usually a stranded conductor insulated with HMWPE. CP Cable is used as direct earth burial DC feeder cable in cathodic protection systems to protect against galvanic and electrolytic corrosion of metallic objects - such as storage tanks, pipelines, wells and ocean vessels - that are buried or submerged in water. A reliable means for cable management in all commercial and industrial installation conditions. >>> Outside returned flange type (R-series) Medium to heavy duty series, outside returned flanged cable tray increase rigidity and lessen hazard of cable being scratched by sharp edges during cable laying process. Complete range standard fittings, accessories and hardwares are available. >>> Inside returned flange type (I-series) Medium to heavy duty series, inside returned flanged cable tray increase cable carrying capacity and saves important installation area spaces. Increased flange height allows for future additional cable laying. >>> 90 deg. inside flange type (C-series) Heavy duty series, 90 deg. inside flange type gives about 50% more rigidity compared to other cable tray the same dimensional specifications. The straight sections and its matching fittings are available in standard mill galvanized and hot dip galvanized, optional materials and finishes are also available to suit customer s requirements. 8
