When it comes to savings as well as when it comes to environmental friendliness. And especially when it comes to comfort. You choose whether the heating system should be particularly economical or ecological the Hybrid Pro Control energy manager for the Vitotronic 200 ensures that the most efficient heat generator is the one operating. Pulls heat out of the ambient air: The air/water heat pump The split-construction heat pump consists of an external unit which pulls heat from the ambient air. The compressor uses that to generate a flow temperature of up to 55 C. The power control using a DC inverter and the electronic expansion valve ensure that efficiency is high, even when operating in partial load operation. This enables the heat pump to take care of up to 80 percent of the annual heat load on average. The pay off is particularly low operating costs. 6 Energy manager The energy manager Hybrid Pro Control: Smart integration for renewable energies Heating systems are only as good as their control units. That's why Vitocaldens 222-F is controlled by the smart control unit Vitotronic 200 with Hybrid Pro Control energy manager. Because the highest degree of flexibility also means the highest degree of efficiency. Conventional control units use a fixed point which is always in reference to the outside temperature when controlling heating systems. The smart energy manager Hybrid Pro Control thinks beyond that and controls the system using variable reference points: Energy prices CO 2 emissions Power consumption Energy efficiency Heating needs Adapt bivalence points: Happens totally automatic The bivalence point tells when the heat pump can meet the entire heating requirement. When it's exceeded, the heat pump needs assistance from the gas condensing boiler. In the Vitocaldens 222-F, the bivalence point is automatically adapted. That means: The current prices for electricity and gas are entered once, and then Hybrid Pro Control constantly calculates which power source can be utilised when to be most effective. In this way, up to 26 percent of energy costs can be saved during economy operation and that is compared to already very efficient, new gas condensing boilers. Heat ecologically or economically: The choice is yours Vitocaldens 222-F offers users two choices for running the heating system. 1. Economical operation Here, costs are most important. Independent from actual use, gas and electricity prices and the generated heating energy are compared. 2. Ecological operation With this setting, the system operates according to the lowest possible CO 2 emissions per kwh of heat generated. Can be set in any mode of operation: Comfort switch Whether you have selected economical or ecological operation, you can still activate the priority switch for hot water preparation using the "Comfort" function. A real plus for comfort is, for example, when on a certain day of the week, hot water requirement is always particularly high. Then you can pre-set the "Comfort" operation so that every week at the same time, enough hot water is automatically available.
