11 Substitute Nurse Tier Schedule: All Substitute Nurses need to have their Registered Nurse License active with the State of Wyoming in order to be put on the Substitute School Nurse list. Tier 1: RN Licensed Nurses will be paid $120/day ($130/day if substituting for the same school nurse for more than 10 consecutive work days). Tier 2: Those with a RN license AND a State of Wyoming School Nurse Certificate via WY Professional Teaching Standards Board will be paid $140/day ($150/day if substituting for the same school nurse for more than 10 consecutive work days). Additionally, RN's with their PTSB certification can participate in a one-time "shadowing" of the four District nurses over a two-day period to observe the handling of our students' specific medical needs. The applicability of this "observation" time will be at the discretion of the Special Education Director and paid for out of a Special Education grant at the daily rates listed above.
