I have taught several new classes that were required where we could not draw from the existing curriculum. My participation and commitment to the program are ongoing and I currently sit on the Washington Health Information Industry Education Committee (WHIIEC) which seeks to coordinate student needs, industry needs and higher education organizational needs at the state level in Washington and is housed within Washington states HCA (Healthcare Authority).
