1 Electrical Engineer I This position works under relatively close supervision to support the transmission and distribution of our electric infrastructure. Prepares basic engineering calculations following standard methodology and principles used in similar engineering analyses. Performs basic equipment selection research and develops recommendations with supportive materials. Checks manufacturer s drawings and UI drawings of appropriate complexity. Develops familiarity with departmental design standards, applicable engineering codes, applicable industry standards, and UI policies. Maintains engineering records and lists as required. Prepares basic design sketches for drafting and incorporation into final plans. Carries out all phases of Project Management for projects of minimal to moderate complexity. Requires a Bachelor s degree the Electrical Engineering discipline from an ABET accredited university. Course work on power distribution a plus. Strong analytical skills and communication skills are necessary. Gas Engineer I This position is a two year rotational assignment. The purpose is provide opportunity to learn the gas business. The successful candidate will spend time at both Connecticut Natural gas in East Hartford and at Southern CT Gas in Orange CT. They will work in various business areas including enegineering, operations, services, and customer service. Requires a Bachelor s degree the Civil or Mechanical Engineering discipline from an ABET accredited university. Course work on in construction a plus. Strong analytical skills and communication skills are necessary.

2 Information Technology Intern Within this internship position, the intern will develop Information systems and system modifications, with general supervision, using knowledge of state-of-the-art information technologies, both hardware and software, taking into account the business needs of the functional units. Formulate scope and objectives through consultation with technical project manager, project office and functional unit personnel. Produce high quality, successful implementations while ensuring added value, timelines and adherence to budget. Key Responsibilities/Duties: With general supervision, qualified candidates will analyze requirements, provide cost estimates at the program level and develop innovative solutions based on business requirements. When course of action is determined develop design specifications and develop application. Adhere to project schedule, cost, scope and report on progress. Develop unit test plan and test and debug applications. Document and implement completed application. Understand the mission and goals of the functional business unit. Intern Conservation Energy Efficiency Position roles and responsibilities: 1) Develop working knowledge as it pertains to energy efficiency measurements & conservation. 2) Develop skills related to CLM s Enernet database 3) Gain pre and post inspection skills related to the projects developed with the C&I portfolio of products

Develop team and interpersonal skills Electrical or Mechanical Engineering candidate preferably 2 yr or higher, strong Natural Science and Mathematical aptitude, strong computer skills with regards to the Windows environment and MS Office. Demonstrate good work ethic, good communication skills and Team skills. Intern Residential Energy Efficiency Position roles and responsibilities: 1. Work aside Residential Program Administrators to assist in program implementation including: 2. Power point creation for training and outreach events. 3. Coordinate outreach events with stakeholders 4. Develop call scripts and conduct customer calls to get a more balanced review of the program Education and technical skills: Candidate should be an undergraduate student majoring in Business, Energy Efficiency or Environmental Sustainability studies. Strong communication skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office. Update content as required, including program pages, supplier choice information and list of professional contractors. Coodinate blog. Create blog entries as needed. Cordinate social media where applicable. Troubleshoot the site including checking content, links, and site features: supplier choice, calendar and professional list. If problems arise with these areas of the site, make corrections as directed. Generate and revise web pages as

4 needed. Education and technical skills: College student majoring in communications, marketing or media with knowledge of web design, technology management and content management. Some html knowledge required. Knowledge of Java script and Drupal a plus. Demonstrated attention to detail. Strong excel skills highly preferred.
