11 Security check Extension of current security check in T5b will secure capacity Check-in desks Some airlines will need to use different desks than historically, the concerned airlines have already been contacted by KAM. The distribution of desks is handled with regular planning meetings every Friday. Baggage discharges There will be enough baggage discharges Baggage sorter There will be an intense morning peak, where the sorter in T5b will handle a large number of bags. Aircraft stands Simulations have shown that, with no delays and no closings of gates, all traffic will be assigned gate stands. However, there will be delays and also maintenance work that will limit access to gate stands, hence there will be a risk of remote handling. To minimize impact, projects with substantial interference on gate stands are postponed, such as the increase of aircraft stands on A and B pier 11
12 Relocation measures May 29 th Additional terminal hosts Traffic coordinator Communication towards passengers (starting approx. two weeks in advance) Branding of the new airlines in the terminal in order for the passengers to find their way A detailed plan for the days around May 29th will be presented on the next meeting 12

Capacity increase: one additional flexigate, additional 2000 sqm on airside Airside: A new level will be build at the southern end of the terminal, creating a separated non-schengen area. This will enable opening a larger Schengen area on level 3 in the former non-schengen area. New toilets, floors, furniture and refreshment of stores and restaurants will contribute to the new look and feel of the terminal. 14
