6 How does it work? Wireless infrastructure consists of 800 Access Points covering the terminals and airside stands etc. Different active RFID Tags placed on the assets we want to track When a Tag is seen by 3 different Access Points, we can establish the position rather precisely (triangulation) Our Cisco network is giving the application positioning data in real time and the application can show the asset, provide alarms and keep historical data 6

7 RFID Tracking, Ground Equipment CPH offers to use RFID technology to increase business efficiency Ground handlers wants verify how much ground support equipment is needed to support peak operations. Find the location of every Air Starter unit, Towbar, Staircase etc. on the apron and quickly identify the status and location of each driver, all in real-time! You could safely service more flights with less equipment in an efficient and timely manner, resulting in more ontime departures and higher customer satisfaction. A WEB based management PC will give you all the needed information about the actual location of your stuff and can provide user defined alarms etc. The alarms can be forwarded as mails or text messages as well.
