Évora is investing on the development of activities in the field of RE with a particular focus on Solar Energy: Degree in RE Engineering Master degree in Solar Energy Engineering Doctoral program in Doctoral Program in Mechatronics and Enegy Engineering ÉVORA Aiming the establishment of R&D activities in this field, the BES Chair in RE was created in 2010, with a particular focus on solar concentration technologies and applications. 2/16

15 activities: experimental infrastructures Investments in infrastructures enable a wide scope approach to solar concentration: R&D, services to industry, training Construction of molten salt testing facilities project, originally lead by SIEMENS (with the participation of a consortium involving, among others, DLR), was recently acquired by UEvora presently a new consortium (led by DLR) is being defined to resume project works and conclusion (estimated to one year after works resume) 15/16
