Georgia State University International Education Fee (IEF) Scholarship- A scholarship available to Georgia State University degree-seeking or certificate students who will be earning academic credit for an experience abroad. Boren National Security Education Program Scholarship is a federally funded study abroad scholarship designed to encourage career-related skills development in preparation for efforts/activities that would lead to opportunities in federal service. o 1scholarship awarded for $20,000 d. Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship- This scholarship provides awards for U.S. undergraduate students who are receiving Federal Pell Grant funding at a two-year or fouryear college or university to participate in study abroad programs worldwide. o 2 scholarships awarded for a total $9,000 e. Freeman Asia Scholarship- The Freeman Asia Scholarship available to undergraduates who have applied or been accepted to a country-based study abroad program in Asia. o 1scholarship awarded for $4,000 f. Affiliate Scholarships o Cultural Experiences Abroad (CEA)- 1scholarship awarded for $2,000 o American Institute for Foreign Studies (AIFS)- 1scholarship awarded for $ g. GSU College Specific Scholarships i. Robinson College of Business- 20 study abroad scholarships awarding a total of $30,200 h. Fulbright Grants- Fulbright is the largest U.S. international exchange program offering opportunities for students, scholars, and professionals to undertake international graduate study, advanced research, university teaching, and teaching in elementary and secondary schools worldwide. o 4 full grants 10
