SAMWON FA has grown since foundation in 1979 in spite of many difficulties, and we think it is thanks to the constant challenge and innovation for the past 30 years. We have led technology development of factory automation system by introducing PLC and its related know-how which is the key technology of industrial auto control system and by distributing it in Korea, and also we started smart card business in 1990's developing electronic toll automatic fare collection system for the first time in the world, which technology was recognized in the field of electronic payment solution such as transportation and distribution. Bus Information System (BIS) Advanced traffic information system sending realtime bus location and accident information to the passengers, bus company and drivers through wireless network. Bus Terminal (Driver s console, Validator) Terminal equipment accepting various transportation cards, and transmitting information such as vehicle's current location, trouble state, driving record and transaction data to the center using communication methods of GPS, wireless LAN and CDMA, and giving realtime information on front/rear vehicles and traffic situation to the driver from the center. Computer System Main Frame Computer (MFC) The system which collects transaction accounts from transportation administration facility and adjustment center, and controls and regulates ticket and transportation card system. Operators Workstation (OWS) The device which generates realtime reports of ticket issued amount, traffic and supplement amount by time and machine in the station. Data Gathering Machine (DGM) The device which transmits needed information in terminal operation(station number, equipment number, date, time, table of fares), and collects generated data from the terminal. Station Equipment System Automatic Vending Machine (AVM) The machine which passengers are able to purchase the tickets by inserting coins or bills. Booking Office Machine(BOM) The machine which issues complementary pass recognizing identification card of recipient. Automatic Fare Adjustment Machine (AFAM) The machine which adjusts tickets for the passenger who cannot pass through automatic gate machine normally. Portable Adjustment Unit (PAU) It works same as automatic fare adjustment machine carried by station employee. Automatic Charger Machine (ACM) The machine which passengers recharge or purchase the transportation card by inserting coins or the bills.
