It is an unmanned device that customers can use to load their smartcards by operating the device themselves. 6 Products Multi Function Farebox The multi-function fare box is installed inside the bus and is run on vehicle power 24V. It is designed for not being interfered with electrically by other devices (fluorescent light, air conditioner, radio and etc...) that are inside the bus. The multi-function fare box transmits the data from cash and card to a collecting system located in the driver s console. Bill reader features: identification of the inserted bill, identification of counterfeit bills, and a feature for returning destroyed and damaged bills. Coin reader features: identification of the inserted coin, and a feature for returning destroyed and damaged coins. Features for returning change: returning change to passengers both manually and automatically Data storage feature: automatic storage function on transaction details Collection and transmission feature on accounting data: transmission of accounting data from the driver s terminal. If telecommunication breaks down, there is automatic storage. Bus Information System This is a system set up for providing bus users with the bus route status in real time via a bus-stop indicator and the internet, which provides bus users with a convenient and pleasant service by displaying the bus exact location, estimated arrival time, etc.. It is installed at Namsan tunnel in Seoul. By using this card instead of cash vehicles are able to pass through more quickly. Payment: deduction function from smart card fee Balance checking: LED display function for smart card balance Parking Control System This is a system for automatically detecting the vehicle number after taking a photo of a stopped or moving vehicle. It has recently been used for multi purposes such as cracking down on speeding, checking for cars that don t pay the toll, access control, parking control, etc... Blacklist feature: no allowance for special vehicle access VIP vehicle management feature: VIP vehicle access notice Checking special vehicle usage frequency by week and month: output data on access to parking lot.
