5 About FICCI Established in 1927, FICCI is the largest and oldest apex business organisation in India. Its history is closely interwoven with India s struggle for independence, its industrialisation, and its emergence as one of the most rapidly growing global economies. FICCI has contributed to this historical process by encouraging debate, articulating the private sector s views and influencing policy. A not-for-profit organisation, FICCI is the voice of India s business and industry. FICCI draws its membership from the corporate sector, both private and public, including SMEs and MNCs; FICCI enjoys an indirect membership of over 2,50,000 companies from various regional chambers of commerce. 01

6 The new identity embodies the Indian tricolour through an energetic and progressive form and is a manifestation of Indian business' achievements at a global level. Conceptualised and designed by India's leading agency Rediffusion YR, the new FICCI identity is symbolic of the changing face of Indian business- from the agrarian look of the independence era to the incorporation of industrial chimneys in the 70s to the bold in blue look of the post- liberalisation era. The new identity is an expression to take FICCI forward into the era of representing India as a global super power while retaining the Indian values which have been instrumental in scripting India's success story. Representing modernity, vibrancy and new trajectory that industry and the nation are now endowed with, the new FICCI logo is a youthful and dynamic symbol that reflects the chamber's trust and faith on an India that is rising to a new trajectory. 7 FICCI Logo The logo is composed of the abbreviation FICCI. should be strictly executed in accordance with the specifications in standard form. As a general rule, third parties may not use the FICCI logo ("logo"). On this page are the limited circumstances under which third parties may use the FICCI logo. The logo must always be used pursuant to the specifications on this page to identify FICCI products or services. Any use that falls outside of these specifications is strictly prohibited. nthird parties may only use the logo without a license only under the following limited circumstances: nin advertising, marketing collateral, or a website that references your connection with FICCI (for example, the material states that you are an authorized distributor or reseller FICCI products) provided that the area in which the FICCI logo is used includes the corporate logo of at least 1 other company with which you have a similar relationship. nin an area of a website, advertising, or marketing collateral exclusively dedicated to the sale of FICCI products, and in such a manner that associates licensed FICCI logo. FICCI reserves the right in its sole discretion to terminate or modify permission to display the logo, and may request that third parties modify or delete any use of the logo that, in FICCI's sole judgment, does not comply with these guidelines, or might otherwise impair FICCI 's rights in the logo. FICCI further reserves the right to object to unfair uses or misuses of its trademarks or other violations of applicable law. 03

8 Black and White format of logo The black and white format of the logo helps to identify graphics production, as well as printing and logo registration. The following guidelines must be followed for all use of the logo: nuse only approved FICCI logo artwork as provided: nuse the positive version on light or white backgrounds. The full-color reverse logo may be used on dark color backgrounds, as well as dark areas within photographs. nthe symbol may not be separated from the logotype. na one color logo is only acceptable when media reproduction is limited. In these cases, the logo may be reversed to white on a background that provides suitable contrast. A black logo is allowed when media reproduction is black only. nthe width of the logo must always be at least 70 pixels for on-screen or 1 (25mm) for print. 04

9 Anti-colour effect of logo The anti-colour effect is an important form of visual performance. Should be strictly executed in accordance with the specifications in standard form. 05

10 Logo grid system To ensure the accuracy of the logo graphic, should be strictly executed in accordance with the specifications in standard form. 06

11 Minimum space around logo Around the logo there should always be enough space to ensure a powerful and clear visual image in all type of media, so that it appears clear and distinct from other elements. To ensure the integrity and visual impact of the logo, should be strictly executed in accordance with the specifications in standard form. To properly stage the logo, a minimum clearance between the logo and other elements must be maintained. The cap height of the 'F' in the logo indicates the measurement of minimum clearance between the logo and other elements on all sides of the Logo. 07

The logo may not be used in any manner that might imply that any non- FICCI materials, including but not limited to goods, services, websites, or publications are sponsored, endorsed, licensed by, or affiliated with FICCI. 2. The logo may not be displayed as a primary or prominent feature on any non- FICCI materials. Neither the logo nor the FICCI name may be used in any other company name, product name, service name, domain name, website title, publication title, or the like. 3. The logo may not be imitated or used as a design feature in any manner. 4. The logo may not be used in a manner that would disparage FICCI or services. 5. The logo must be used as provided by FICCI with no changes, including but not limited to changes in the color, proportion, or design, or removal of any words or artwork. The logo may not be animated, morphed, or otherwise distorted in perspective or appearance. 6. The logo must appear only in a horizontal position. 7. Positioning of Logo should be approved by FICCI Corporate Communications Department. 08
