He is the Executive Director of FlexSystem Holdings Ltd (GEM Listed Company) and the founder and President of IT Accountants Association. Mr. So is very active in social and public affairs as guest speaker and part-time lecturer at universities, academic organisation and semi-government bodies in recent years. He is also a renowned columnist for newspapers and magazines in topics related to PRC business & enterprise computerisation. 4 Introduction to Basel II and Project Implementation Experience Sharing Programme Code: S091023AS Date Friday, 23 October 2009 Mr. Lam Hon Yin, Hymen Mr. Lam is an experienced Information Technology practitioner. He is a specialist in retail banking systems and has been responsible for retail systems development for an International bank for many years. His recent assignments include the establishment of retail banking systems for a national bank in China and the implementation of Basel II in Hong Kong for a regional bank. All parties interested in how the Basel II accord works and how it affects operations of banks around the world, and in particular, the challenges of its implementation. The 2 nd Basel Accord was published in 2004 by the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision. 8 Multi-Locations Work Environment and Daily Work Management Programme Code: S091116S Mr. Samson Chow Director, Norray Professional Computer Ltd Date Monday, 16 November 2009 With 23 years of experience in the IT industry, Mr. Chow managed many software projects and delivered numerous training programmes on computer related subjects. Software development projects managed by Mr. Chow includes tailor-made solutions for specific clients and industries, a computerised accounting package and most recently, a Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) that gives businesses an effective and efficient boost in managing their customers. In addition to the vast experience in software development, he has over 15 years of teaching experience. He was the course leader for one of the courses on the ITAA QF syllabus. More recently, he has devoted part of his time as a volunteer for an non-profit organisation, he teaches computer application programs to under-privileged school students in rural China and acting as the Information Technology Director.
