Programme Overview Offered by the award-winning Lancashire Business School, this programme aims to prepare our graduates to be experientially prepared and theoretically sophisticated as a proficient practitioner in the field of marketing communications. To enhance our graduates employability, the programme allows students to gain exposure to up-to-date knowledge and practical skills in relation to the ever-evolving marketing communications industry. The Lancashire Business School is geared to meet the challenges of the industry and is committed to produce high calibre graduates. Our graduates will be qualified to work in fields including advertising, media, public relations, promotions, conventions and exhibitions, as well as branding and marketing, in either public and/ or private sector in Hong Kong. They will also be capable of serving clients from the Mainland and international corporations. Programme Structure The programme is delivered in both full-time and part-time modes. The full-time programme is delivered within one year and in two semesters. The part-time programme is delivered over 18 months of study covering four semesters. English Proficiency Requirement For applicants where English is not their first language or where their Higher Diploma or Associate Degree programme is not taught or assessed in English, a score of at least 6.0 on the International English Language Testing Systems (IELTS) (or equivalent) is required. Assessment All modules are assessed by coursework, projects and/or dissertation. Total programme fee for BA (Hons) Advertising and Marketing Communications is HK$67,600. This consists of a registration fee of HK$3,200 and a tuition fee of HK$64,400. Tuition fee is payable by 2 instalments for full-time programmes and 4 instalments for parttime programmes. The fees will be collected within 1 month before the commencement of the semester. 2. Total programme fee for BSc (Hons) Building Surveying, BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying and BEng (Hons) Building Services and Sustainable Engineering is HK$81,200. This consists of a registration fee of HK$3,200 and a tuition fee of HK$78,000. Tuition fee is payable by 4 equal instalments and will be collected within 1 month before the commencement of the semester. 3. Total programme fee for BSc (Hons) Architectural Studies is HK$178,300. This consists of a registration fee of HK$3,200 and a tuition fee of HK$175,100. Tuition fee is payable by 8 equal instalments and will be collected within 1 month before the commencement of the semester. 4. Total programme fee for BSc (Hons) Sport Business () is HK$69,600. This consists of a registration fee of HK$3,200 and a tuition fee of HK$66,400. Tuition fee is payable by 4 instalments and will be collected within 1 month before the commencement of the semester. 5. All fees paid less application fee will be refunded if the programme is withdrawn or not offered. 7. On premature cessation of the programme, all fees and charges that have been collected in respect of any part of the programme failing to be conducted on or after the date of the cessation will be refunded within 1 month of the premature cessation.
