STRUCTURING PROJECTS PETROCHEMICAL The Italian group Mossi & Ghisolfi (M & G) is the pioneer in the PET resin plant. Petroquímica Suape will have three plants: one for production of terephthalic acid (PTA), the second for producing polymers and other polyester filaments (POY) and the third resin for manufacturing packaging (PET). Together, they will be able to generate about 1.5 million tons / year. Investment: U.S. $ 2.2 billion. 11
