PTC s vibrodrivers are efficient hydraulic vibratory hammers that reduce the cohesion of the soil through vibration, allowing to easily drive or extract sheet piles and many other profiles. Considering the increasing use of excavators in piling jobs, PTC has developped a complete range of Vibrodrivers specifically designed to be mounted directly on the dipper arm of a wide range of excavators. FORK ATTACHMENT For easy Vibrodriver adaptation on all types of excavators. SWIVEL Allows Vibrodriver rotation and facilitates profile positioning. Compact and slim: Ideal for piling jobs with reduced spaces and low head room, such us in city centres. Minimal height to maximise sheet pile length. So slim that it can drive in between sheet piles. Excavator connection (Power supplied by the excavator) Yoke Containing high absorbtion elastomers, which are the result of PTC research in reducing vibratory emissions. Gear Box Contains the eccentric pairs that produce the vibration. Quick and easy excavator connection: Three connection options for perfect adaptation to the number of circuits available on the excavator: Hydraulic control. Electric control. Flow limitor. Simple operation: The Vibrodriver is powered by the excavator s hydraulic system. The excavator s operator controls all parameters from the cabin. Variable moment technology (only in PHFV range) Vibrodrivers of the PHFV range, are equipped with PTC s variable moment technology, which enables to permanently control the vibrations generated by the Vibrodriver. Thus allowing a start/stop of the driving without any vibrations, and reducing the vibrations emitted to the surrounding environment. The variable moment system consists of a phase shifter that opposes the upper and lower eccentrics to adjust the vibration, even down to zero (no vibration). Strong power and light weight: Vibrators with very light weight and powerful eccentric moments. High push/pull force. Resonance-free: Adjustable amplitude and driving speed (PHFV range). PATENT tiltex PENDING Just tilt, lift and drive the sheet piles The Tiltex is a tilting clamp specially designed for excavator mounted Vibrodrivers. It improves the handling of sheet piles and the productivity of piling projects. With this tilting clamp, operators can grab sheet piles stored on the ground and drive them directly without any other handling operations. Sheet pile handling: simplified and optimised There s no longer any need for an additional operator to thread a chain through the sheet pile or use any other basic lifting accessories to handle the sheet piles: the excavator operator controls all the parameters from the cabin. 215 130 130 Improved safety and working conditions How does Tiltex work? PTC proposes three control options with different connection requirements to allow perfect adaptation to the client s excavator model and to the number of hydraulic circuits available. Electric control Ideal when there is only 1 circuit available on the excavator An electric control box is supplied to easily control the Vibrodriver from the excavator cabin. Manifold block The electric control monitors all Vibrodriver functions using only one circuit of the excavator. This single circuit supplies hydraulic power with proper flow and pressure to all the Vibrodriver circuits. The Vibrodriver is easily controlled from the cabin by a control box: A simple 3-button control box allows controlling: Vibrations (hydraulic motor) Clamp Amplitude (variable moment system of PHFV models) Control box Breaker circuit Only 1 circuit is required to operate PHF or PHFV Vibrodrivers. Breaker circuit. Hydraulic control The Vibrodriver is controlled from the cabin using only one joystick. Joystick Manifold block Only for PHFV Vibrodrivers: additional circuit to control the amplitude The Manifold block developed by PTC allows to control the Vibrodriver by using only one joystick (vibration and clamps). The operator starts powering the Vibrodriver by pushing forward the joystick to close the clamp. Then to start the vibration, the joystick needs to be pushed all the way. To open the clamp the operator moves the joystick backwards and reverses the flow. Clamp opened Stop Clamp closed 1 circuit is required to operate PHF Vibrodrivers. Breaker circuit. Flow limitor The Vibrodriver is controlled from the cabin using at least 2 joysticks (one controls the clamp, the other controls vibration). Flow limitor Only for PHFV Vibrodrivers: additional circuit to control the amplitude The flow limitor makes sure the vibrodriver s maximum oil flow capacity is not surpassed, thus guaranteeing driving efficiency and protecting the equipment. In addition, the Vibrodriver can be mounted on excavators with different oil flow capacities, without needing special adaptation. 2 circuits are required to operate the PHFV Vibrodrivers. Breaker circuit : for the Flow limitor, which controls the hydraulic motor (Vibrations). gooseneck stick fork attachment storage support PTC has specially developped an extension arm for the excavator boom that increases the lifting height of the excavator by 2m, thus allowing the driving of higher profiles. The fork attachment allows easy mounting of the Vibrodriver on the excavator arm. The storage support is a useful accessory to save floor space on the job site or to better organize the vibrators of your rental fleet. The gooseneck is supplied with assembling pins and an attachment fork, which are customised by PTC to the client s excavator model. 2 0 680 300 550 650 439 990 709 650 195 561 PTC customises all fork attachments to guarantee perfect fitting of the Vibrator on the client s excavator model. chain The storage support is available for all the excavator mounted Vibrodrivers, except the 1PHFC model. For safety reasons, a small chain should be used to attach and secure the sheet pile to the vibrator. The chain is also used to move the sheet pile and help the crew to better position the sheet pile on the driving guide. PTC supplies the chain with Vibrodrivers equiped with Agriplex clamps.
