2 CK20-1 / CK30-1 S KID STEER LOADER WALK-AROUND The new Komatsu CK20-1 and CK30-1 crawler skid steer loaders are powerful, fast and easy to use. These machines perfectly combine the compactness and manoeuvrability which typically characterise the wheeled versions, with the exceptional floating and traction ability of the tracks, offering an ideal solution for toughest applications on soft and slippery soil. Hydraulic Servo-Controls The PPC servo-controls make the machines extremely user friendly: natural movements and unique efficiency come with minimum effort. The right joystick controls the arm and the bucket, while the left one controls the transmission. Super Flow The Super Flow system increases the available oil flow for attachments and it comes with drainage and electric connection. The joysticks and the proportional pedal ensure a perfect control of all functions. This option allows the user to operate many types of attachments, including cold planer, wheel-saw, snow blower, sweeper, backhoe excavator, mixing bucket and many more; this makes the CK20-1 and the CK30-1 two extremely flexible machines. Hydraulic System The CLSS closed centre Load Sensing system ensures proportionality, precision and smoothness in all movements. In addition, it is capable of combining power and speed to respond to any needs. The machine features two axial piston motors, while the second speed is standard. 2

Additionally, it ensures low exhaust emissions to comply with the European STAGE 2 standard and restrains noise level and vibrations, while still providing excellent reliability and easy access for periodic maintenance. Furthermore, as the specific pressure on the ground is much lower than the one characterizing the wheeled versions, these machines can work at their best even on yielding soil, such as sand. 3

4 CK20-1 / CK30-1 S KID STEER LOADER OPERATOR'S ENVIRONMENT A wide entrance and plenty of room provide the operator with a level of comfort that is much above the average for this class of machines. Then, the ergonomic controls and the excellent 360 visibility make the job much easier and safer in any conditions. The LCD panel, a KOMATSU patent, is mounted on the safety bar. Thanks to it, the operator can constantly monitor all main functions of the machine: from fuel level to water temperature, from air filter to engine oil pressure, and more. On request, the machine can be offered with the exclusive front door and the side windows, as well as with heating or air conditioning for the highest comfort in every season. 4

5 SKID STEER LOADER CK20-1 / CK30-1 STRONG POINTS The Tracks The tracks ensure exceptional stability and traction force on all types of soil. The wide base gives excellent stability to the machine and strongly reduces vibrations and increases operator comfort. The hard steel ensures high resistance to all parts which are most subject to wear, such as gears, rollers and idlers. At the same time, a bigger section and multiple rubber covered steel reinforcements ensure extended duration to the shoes. Two Speeds The second speed, which is standard, pushes the CK20-1 and the CK30-1 up to a 12 km/h top speed and drastically reduces the transfer times within the yard, thus increasing the productivity. The first speed is used while digging or climbing, whenever maximum drawbar pull is required. Safety In case of unauthorised manoeuvres, a sophisticated system of sensors on the safety bars and on the seat prevents all movements by automatically braking on the transmission and disabling the working equipment. The ROPS-FOPS cab, the excellent dynamic stability of the machine and the 360 visibility allow the operator to work with complete confidence. Sliding Door The front sliding door, that rises and goes underneath the roof, ensures extraordinary comfort in any environmental conditions: hot, cold, rain or dust. Also, thanks to this particular design, the operator can work with the door either open or closed, as it doesn t interfere with the arm of the machine at all. 5
