1) Daily Bread Please see attached <Sandwich Delivery Windows V10.xls> for latest schedule. Lyndsey Allan: 07779 888 406 or lyndsey@dailybread.ltd.uk NB: I thought it was obvious, but I was wrong. For files like these (essentially a work in progress ) I always end the file name in V+number. This represents Version 10. This file supersedes information in any previous version. It just means that the information is as accurate as I can get it now. Next week, I ll probably be attaching <Sandwich Delivery Windows V11.xls> or <Sandwich Delivery Windows V12.xls>. So SORRY for any confusion, I forget sometimes that people don t have the same brain as me... While I m on the topic, when I do <SomeRandomName.doc> - it refers to a file that I ve attached separately. So I expect you to download & open it for further information... Again SORRY for any confusion. 2) Fridge Labels Thanks to most of you that have emailed me your details. Still some missing shops from my list. You know who you are - please collate & send as soon as you can. e.g. Tropicana/250ml Smooth/ 1.25 Email to hugh@esquirescoffee.co.uk ASAP We will have no more hand written, crappy-looking labels! 3) New Phones As most of you will have experienced, our new phone system went in on Tuesday - slight disruptions to tills/transfer of calls/me pressing the wrong buttons/etc. Should be back to normal soon. Sorry for any problems :)
4) Tesco Vouchers When sending in your Tesco vouchers, please make sure the envelope is secure and will hold the weight of the vouchers to London. We have recently had some through where the envelope has been ripped in transit. I suppose we ve been lucky that the vouchers are still enclosed. So, better stationery please! :) 5) Voucher Cloud New Offer - Buy 1 get 1 free - R&A Latte or Milkshake. This will last until the next offer which will involve our Summer Milkshake Campaign on the 12th June. 6) Staff Emails Thanks to those have emailed the emails...the remainder, please do so ASAP as we are getting closer & closer to introducing the new Mystery Customer Program!!!!! Weeeeeeeeeeee!!!!! As mentioned previously, I would like to keep them up to speed with important information, especially the upcoming change in Mystery Customer Campaign. Also, they probably know more about online media such as Facebook/Twitter/Voucher Cloud/Groupon/etc. than you. They can help you a lot! 7) Choc Affair Linda from Choc Affair (the Easter Lollypop Lady) would like to thank you for your business & cheques for Easter. However, she asked if you could write your store name for current & future payments to ease the process at her end. So you know - we re working on a Peekay Penguin Chocolate Lolly :)
8) Milk - Dairy Crest I know with all the recent holidays, changing milk supplier isn t on the top of your list. I d like to point out that it is your responsibility to arrange for changeover dates/keys/instructions/etc. Stuart McBreaty (07767 733 3110) has told me that all the paperwork has been receieved and is only waiting for instructions by you. Give DC Customer Services a call asap on 08457 811 118. 9) New Mystery Customer Program Customer visits are now imminent, one store will be visited for a test run next week - but which one!!??!! The full wave of visits to all stores & their closest competitor for comparison (where applicable) will begin the following week. Please see <Esquires Mystery Customer Intro Pack.pdf> for more info. 11) Tony s Corner Sales Analysis Last week was a challenging week with the weather and the Royal Wedding on Friday which in all but a couple of coffee shops really hurt us. We ended up ( 3794) behind last year, which is (2.62)% which is not too bad considering. 8 coffee houses out of 29 were like for like positive. No surprises that these were predominantly houses with outdoor seating that their customers could enjoy. Worthy performances to note were Ambleside who had a really strong week (big up the Joanne and Simon posse), they were up 1771 up against last year. Steve Patania at Doncaster Wheatley enjoyed RECORD SALES with 1267 better than last year his business goes from strength to strength as Steve and his team really get into the community with local marketing, music nights and they have extended their breakfast range well done here. Scarborough enjoyed a better week and they are creeping up week by week as too is Linda, Ian and the gang at Southport good stuff! Horsham had a stormer with over 9072 taken but Durham stole the takings crown with 10966 taken last week, well done to John and his team. We were 8894 behind the total sales for week commencing 11th April 2011, which is (5.24)% less. This weeks top five are 1. Horsham: 43.6% - well done to the superb team here 2. Ambleside: 28.1% - really good to see 3. Coventry: 23.5% - simply awesome! 4. Doncaster Wheatley: 22.1% - racing round the track 5. Durham: 21.5% - sales champion for the week
