Who We Are FlairJet, based at Oxford Airport, was established in 2009 and has developed a first class reputation for quality, service, safety and transparency. As part of the Marshall Aerospace and Defence Group we have a strong commercial management background in the acquisition, management, maintenance, charter and sales of corporate and private aircraft. Our team is made up of dedicated airline operations, executive aviation, training and business management people. This is supported by our experienced CAMO, two excellent duty operations managers and a team of dedicated pilots and operations staff. A forward thinking company committed to service excellence, quality, safety and above all, transparency. First Aircraft and Aircraft Acquisition With the huge number of new and pre-owned business jets in the market it can be difficult to identify which model would be best suited to your requirements. FlairJet has considerable experience within the business and private jet sector and we can help you identify the right aircraft type for your needs. We can bring significant cost advantages to aircraft owners through the synergies of the group. Already found an aircraft? We can provide assistance with the technical acceptance and delivery of an aircraft that you have or are about to buy. The process involves a test flight where every system is checked methodically, every internal door and catch is checked and double checked to ensure they function at altitude. On the ground the aircraft is subjected to a rigorous, inch by inch inspection of components, paintwork, fittings and fabrics to make sure it is received in perfect condition. To meet with the extensive aviation regulations we make sure the documentation for the aircraft is in order and fit for purpose and we can help you with the legal and financial details associated with closing the aircraft sale.
Aircraft Management Owning an aircraft can be complicated and expensive. It also brings a host of new challenges with complex crewing, maintenance and operating regulations. We provide a straightforward and transparent aircraft management service for aircraft owners; taking away the hassle of regulations, maintenance, crewing and account management. FlairJet has the infrastructure and technical expertise to support and manage any aircraft type. Our operations department systems are able to deal with the complexities of a 24/7 global operation. Operational Area For commercial charter our current operational area includes the whole of Western Europe, Russia, Middle East and the whole of Africa. We hold approvals for RVSM, P-RNAV, MNPS, Low Visibility Take-off and Electronic Flight Bag (EFB). These additional approvals mean we can fly, almost unrestricted, within our operating area, even in the most challenging of weather conditions. For private flights the area of operation is limited only by your imagination. Cost Savings By operating a fleet of aircraft, and as part of the Marshall Aerospace and Defence Group, FlairJet is able to negotiate preferential rates for insurance, handling fees and consumables such as fuel. There are three aircraft management options: sole private use, commercial use and a hybrid of both. There is no such thing as a one size fits all contract so we will endeavour to tailor your contract to fit your own personal requirements. Aircraft Management Options Maximise the income from the charter of your asset and reduce your ownership costs by allowing FlairJet to charter your aircraft when you don t need it. We are able to generate an income from charter via our Air Operators Certificate. For owners who do not wish to offer their aircraft for charter then private aircraft management is the other option. Through this option we take away the hassles of owning your own aircraft: no worries about insurance, maintenance, crew or administration. Everything is managed by FlairJet. Hybrid aircraft management provides the best of both worlds with FlairJet handling the complexities of moving between the commercial and private operation.
Transparency Tight financial control and transparency of costs are vital to efficient aircraft management. It s supported by an experienced financial controller and accounting staff providing you with a monthly statement of income and expenditure that is tailored to your requirements. Every invoice is uploaded to a shared file service for audit purposes. You will have complete visibility of the aircraft s movements through either an internet connection to our flight scheduling software or via an app for a smartphone or tablet device. This means owner flights can be booked in advance to fit in with charters (and vice versa). Sales Should you elect to make your aircraft available for charter, FlairJet has an experienced commercial team that will develop a marketing plan for your aircraft. This will be tailored to ensure that the aircraft flies as much or as little as you wish and to optimise the returns to you from charter. Our team has extensive contacts throughout the global aviation world and is able to generate charter revenue throughout our AOC area. Off-set your ownership costs with our Charter Management Service.
Safety and Quality Our safety and quality departments not only ensure safe and efficient flight operations but far exceed the standards set by the regulatory authority. Our flight crew are trained to the highest standards ensuring that you, your passengers and your aircraft are in the safest of hands. The quality and safety functions of FlairJet have been widely praised by the authority and have proven to be the backbone of this modern, clean sheet operation. The system is audited twice a year by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). At the core of the safety function is the Safety Management System (SMS). This provides a robust and structured approach to the identification of risk and its management. At its heart is a safety culture that is propagated throughout the organisation, from flight crew to operations and to maintenance functions. The CAA holds our SMS in high esteem as one of the best in class within the Corporate Aviation sector. Exceeding safety standards is second nature. Aircraft Maintenance Marshall Business Aviation is a JAR 145 maintenance organisation with Cessna Service Centre status. This means your aircraft can be maintained and operated by the same aviation services group, thus reducing inefficiency between maintenance events and returning your aircraft to service. Hangarage Cambridge Airport is part of the Marshall Aerospace and Defence Group business which means we are able to provide beneficial rates to owners whose aircraft we operate. This results in significant discounts for hangarage and landing fees at Cambridge Airport. However, the aircraft can be based at any airport convenient to the owner. We can also advise on airports where the charter activity is greatest. We can negotiate special rates at various airports for landing fees, parking and hangarage.
