Exhibition: World of Wallace Alfred Russel Wallace was a British naturalist, explorer, geographer, and anthropologist who lived at Holly Lodge in Barking from 1870-72. Wallace is best known for arriving at the Theory of Evolution by Natural Selection independently of Charles Darwin. The exhibition will examine how the places where Wallace lived and worked informed his groundbreaking discoveries in the field of natural history. Open daily, Monday to Saturday.
