JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: Online Marketing Executive / Swyddog Gweithredol Marchnata Arlein (Grade 5) Department: Reporting to: Location: Communications & Marketing Associate Director of Communications & Marketing Head Office PURPOSE: To increase Tenovus presence online through the implementation of a comprehensive online marketing strategy, resulting in an increase in online donations and helping Tenovus to become sector best. As part of a supportive communications team you will be responsible for developing our SEO and optimise campaign effectiveness. You will also develop online display activity and be involved in integrating our social media strategy into wider campaigns. You will also identify key influencers online and find creative ways to get them talking about Tenovus to amplify campaign noise. Crucial will be your ability to use tracking, reporting and analysis to ensure activity is performing as effectively as possible and use these insights to optimise activity during campaign to maximise performance. You must be a confident digital marketer who has already proven themselves in delivering digital marketing, particularly social media, management of content management systems, search optimisation, e-marketing and CRM. You re skilled at running comprehensive and time-sensitive projects, work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and can build strong working relationships with multiple stakeholders. You embrace innovation, are great at producing clear and insightful briefs and are comfortable interpreting and acting on research data.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Online Marketing 1. To regularly review and update content on the Tenovus website through administering the content management system 2. To use social networking sites such as facebook, twitter and Linkedin to help promote our key fundraising events and harness support / increase donations online. 3. To produce digital content (short films / video for the web) for key activities and promote these through forums such as YouTube and flickr. 4. Regularly monitor and update google analytics and all search marketing techniques 5. To write creative copy for all on line marketing. 6. To increase interaction on our social media sites and drive online donations 7. To implement and roll out an e-marketing strategy to promote key activities and achievements throughout the year. 8. To promote the Tenovus brand and its activities through appropriate online forums and blogs 9. To grow our supporter base through developing creative online marketing campaigns 10. To improve the understanding of online marketing opportunities to staff and ensure they can integrate online marketing activity as part of their role and provide support where necessary. 11. To implement relevant SEO activities for Tenovus 12. Work with our corporate events team to make sure our valuable supporters are represented online. 13. Build strong relationships with external stakeholders to increase the number of external links to our site. 14. To work closely with the fundraising team to help recruit volunteers and participants, increasing income generated 15. To evaluate all online marketing activity on a monthly basis. 16. To support the PR and Communications Manager with marketing and PR activities as required and work with the Graphic Designer to maintain brand consistency and clear messaging General 1. 4. To participate as and when required in appropriate meetings, and to undertake, courses/training, which are relevant to the role 5. FLEXIBILITY STATEMENT In addition to the duties and responsibilities outlines, you must be prepared to undertake such additional duties which may result from changing circumstances, but which may not of necessity change the general character or level of responsibility to the post. You will be subject to annual performance reviews which will incorporate a review of these duties and performance over the year. COMPETENCE You are responsible for limiting your actions to those which you feel competent to undertake. If you have any doubts about your competence during the course of your duties you should immediately speak to your line manager. RISK MANAGEMENT It is a standard element of the role and responsibility of all staff within the Charity fulfil a proactive role towards the management of risk in all of their actions. This entails the risk assessment of all situations, the taking of appropriate actions and reporting of all incidents, near misses and hazards. HEALTH AND SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
