â TARGET GROUP Graduate statements The study programme addresses German and international applicants with an above-average Bachelor degree in business management or economics, who wish to prepare themselves for a career in internationally operating companies or organizations. The master programme International Business and provides knowledge which, builds on acquired knowledge and abilities from previous studies. Particular emphasis is accorded to in-depth studies with a focus on international management enhanced by further teaching areas. The studies can be commenced directly following the graduation of a business management or economicsrelated study programme. It is also possible to start the programme after having gained some work experience, as is the case for about 20% of our students. In general, the average age of our students is around 24 years. Most of the students finish the master programme within the allocated time of four semesters and are successfully employed after only short periods of application procedures. The lectures at Hochschule Osnabrück were always thought-provoking and the professors and staff showed high levels of enthusiasm and dedication to the students. I was not only able to develop my knowledge in the fields of business and economics, but was also provided with a high level of cultural understanding. David Waver, US-American Due to the high practical relevance of courses, now I am well prepared for professional life. Small multinational study groups and modules in English ensured a high level of internationality which is highly important nowadays. Torsten Schmalbrock, German The graduate programme International Business and at the Hochschule Osnabrück has fulfilled my expectations as an international-oriented study programme! The excellent modern facilities at the Hochschule Osnabrück, the small multinational study groups and excellent support from professors and staff members, I found to be very positive. Jennifer Frigger, German The study programme is very versatile and is aimed at equipping the students with skills that give them a competitive edge over the rest. Intercultural skills should not be underestimated! Priyanka Sharma, Indian Through its many international contacts, small groups of students and its practical studies, the program provides excellent conditions for an efficient way to study. Klaus Bockemühl-Simon, German The small study group and the review process of the group work during the semester help to develop soft skills. I could also bring in my previous work experience to the lectures: newly acquired knowledge and skills were close to practice, so I transferred my experience and was able to ask critical questions. Martin Hoberg, German In fact, the integrated nature and practical orientation of the master s programme prepared me to face and come to terms with the challenges encountered in a multinational enterprise with a very complex matrix. Ivo Nji Che, Cameroonian 6 7
