Preface These installation instruction describes the assembly of a PLUG P3SC straight connector with item number 305 990 001 VAR xxxx, 305 015 VAR xxxx, 305 990 008 VAR xxxx and a PLUG connector socket with item number 305 014 VAR xxxx and 305 990 009 VAR xxxx. PLUG-connection systems enable the secure transmission of high electrical power in the smallest construction volume. Mandatory notes to be observed: The internal installation regulations from the network operator must be observed! The installation must only be performed by trained, qualifi ed electricians. Installation under energized line is not permitted! Connecting under energized line is not permitted! These installation instructions must be read carefully before installing. Keep the straight connector and connector socket clean and dry. Straight connector and connector socket only plug in under dry conditions. The items must each be taken frome one packaging unit. Check parts for completeness and damage. In case of incompleteneness or damage the system must not be installed! Process the installtion clean, dry and run with care. Dirty or dropped parts must not be used! Exchange of the straight connector / connector socket is necessary! Use only listed and approved tools (see page 4). Straight connector are provided with a mechanical polarization (marked with AF01 - AF06, depending on the version) which must be fi t into the corresponding straight connector / connector socket. The area of use must be released by the manufacturer prior to installation. Product description Compact straight connector and connector socket for connection to motors, transformers, converters, emergency power supply, air-conditioning technology, etc. Straight connector and connector socket are polarized so that an interchange of the connections is reliable prevented in screwed position. Note that the polarization does not interlock at the beginning of the mating prozess. Cable termination: pressed.
