Connecticut State Council Connecticut Emergency Nurses Association (CTENA) proudly presents the 40 th Annual NERS Conference in picturesque Mystic Connecticut. This conference provides an opportunity for emergency nurses from across New England to share their experiences, discuss current clinical issues and network on Navigating Change in the healthcare arena. We are pleased to announce that Deena Brecher 2014 ENA President and Kathleen Carlson 2014 ENA Secretary/Treasurer will be attending and presenting at the conference. Your conference fee includes educational sessions, dedicated time to speak directly with vendors, Mystic Pizza Party on Wednesday evening, continental breakfast, coffee & refreshment at breaks and luncheons. To provide a safe and educational atmosphere at the conference, children and infants are not allowed in educational sessions, breakfast and luncheons. Room temperatures may vary, so please dress in layers. CTENA has submitted to the Emergency Nurses Association for approval to award contact hours. The Emergency Nurses Association is accredited as an approver of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center s Commission on Accreditation. CONFERENCE REFUND and CANCELLATION POLICY CTENA reserves the right to change topics and speakers at any time. Written cancelations must be received by Maribeth Hayes on or before April 3, 2014 for a full refund. After the cancelation deadline, no refunds will be issued. Substitutions are permitted. 2
