Business Mobile Banking Features Overview There are two modes of Business Mobile Banking available. Each mode offers a different level of functionality. Business Mobile Banking App o Business Online Banking service accessed via an application downloaded to the your device o Offers full functionality o Compatible with iphone and Android Business Mobile Web o Business Online Banking service accessed via the mobile browser on the your device o Offers slightly less functionality (i.e. no Mobile Check Deposit, Approvals) o Compatible with nearly all smartphones and tablets enabled with a data plan or Wi-Fi Features and Benefits of Each Service Type The Business Mobile App offers the fastest service and access to the full functionality of our Mobile Banking services. The App is free to download from the App Store or Google Play Store and works on any iphone or Android device provided your operating system is up-to-date. The Business Mobile App and the Mobile Business Banking Website have a similar look and feel and share much of the same functionality with two exceptions the mobile approvals and mobile check deposit feature are not available on our Mobile Website. Mobile Website users won t need to download an App or worry about updates. And the Mobile Website is optimized for use on just about any smart phone, including Windows Phones and Blackberry devices. Step One: Pick the service that s best for you Business Mobile Banking Enrollment You can use Foundation Bank Business Mobile Banking two ways with our FREE Business Mobile App or by visiting our Mobile Business Online Banking Website optimized for your mobile device. Option 1 Our FREE Business Mobile Application offers the most comprehensive functionality and is available for all iphone and Android users. The App can be found in the App Store or Google Play Store by search for Foundation Bank. Look for and download the App called Foundation Bank Business. Unfortunately, The Mobile Check Deposit feature is not compatible with Mobile Website at this time. Simply open your mobile browser and navigate to mb.foundationbank.com to get started. Step Two: Make sure you have the service enabled To use our mobile banking service you must: Already have a Business Online Banking user profile Have the Mobile Banking service enabled on your Online Banking Profile Have a mobile phone number registered to your Online Banking Profile See your company Administrator to ensure you have access to all of the accounts, services, and transaction limits you need to use Mobile Banking including Bill Pay, Mobile RDC (check deposit), and ACH and wire approval authority. Step Three: Enrollment is easy to do right from your phone Enrolling in the service ties your phone to your Online Banking profile and is designed to prevent fraudulent access to your accounts. 1. Open the Foundation Bank Business Mobile App or visit our Mobile Business Banking Website at mb.foundationbank.com 2. Enter your User ID and Password and tap Continue 3. Enter your Company ID and tap Sign On 4. Enter the mobile phone number that s registered to your Online Banking Profile and tap Sign On Note For your security, If this number does not match your user profile, your enrollment will not be successful 5. Read the Terms & Conditions and tap Accept 6. Enter the phone number for the mobile device you are currently using and tap Enroll 7. Success! You are now enrolled in Business Mobile Banking If you plan to use both the App and the Mobile Website, you ll need to perform these steps the first time you log into each service. After that, you ll just need to enter your User ID, Password and Company ID just like when you log into Business Online Banking.
Business Mobile Banking Navigation Foundation Bank s Business Mobile Banking service has a clean, intuitive interface and allows you extensive access to your accounts while using your mobile device. Getting Started 1. Download the FREE Business Mobile App from the App Store or the Google Play Store Note Search for Foundation Bank and look for the application called Foundation Bank Business) 2. Make sure your Company Administrator has added Mobile Banking to your Business Online Banking user profile 3. Open the App (displayed as FB Business on your device s home screen) and follow the prompts to enroll in the service Signing in and Signing Out 1. Open the FB Business App 2. Enter your User ID and Password and Tap Continue 3. Enter your Company ID and tap Sign On 4. To securely exit the App, click Sign Off in the upper-right corner Using the Menu 1. Log into the FB Business App Note Your default home screen is the Account Dashboard page a summary of accounts and their balances 2. Tap the Menu icon which is always located in the top left of the screen 3. From the home screen the Account Dashboard tap the Account to view the recent transactions on the account 2. Tap a Transaction to see more details 3. Swipe or use the Scrolling Arrows to switch between accounts 4. Tap the Summary tab to see a graphical representation of your account s cash flow or 5. Tap the Search tab to quickly locate past transaction details Transferring Between Accounts 1. Select Transfers from the App Menu 2. Pick your Transfer From and Transfer To accounts 3. Business Mobile Bill Pay Mobile Bill Pay provides you access to your company s Business Online Banking Bill Pay service using your mobile device allowing you to schedule new payments and to verify upcoming bill payment transactions. Step One: Make sure you have the service enabled To use the Mobile Bill Pay service you must: Be enrolled in Business Mobile Banking and using either the Mobile App or the Mobile Website Be assigned the Bill Pay service by your Company Administrator Have access to the designated funding accounts See your company Administrator to ensure you have access to the accounts and permissions needed to use Mobile Bill Pay. Step Two: Making a Payment 1. Log into the Business Mobile Banking App or the Mobile Business Banking Website mb.foundationbank.com 2. Tap the Menu icon (top left) 3. Select: Bill Pay 4. Tap Pay To and select your payee from your pre-existing list of payees 5. Tap Pay From and select an account from your list of eligible funding accounts 6. Pick the Send On day the date you d like your payment to be sent (the earliest date is automatically selected) 7. Enter the Amount of the payment 8. Add a Memo if you choose 9. Tap Continue 10. Review the details of the transaction 11. Tap Transmit to approve Success! Your screen will display a confirmation that your bill payment has been approved and submitted for processing. Retain the reference number for your records. Managing Payees and Payments Mobile Bill Pay offers you the basic functionality of Task Mobile Bill Pay Regular Bill Pay Foundation Bank s Bill Pay service: You can make a quick, Schedule one-time payments one-time payment or check your schedule payments to View scheduled payments make sure you didn t forget to pay a particular payee. Cancel one-time payments Schedule recurring payments Cancel recurring payments While Mobile Bill Pay is designed to work co-dependently Edit a scheduled payment with Business Online Banking Bill Pay and what you do View recent payments in one service is generally visible or accessible in the View existing payees other it is not intended to replace the full Bill Pay Add new payees service. Business Mobile Approvals If you can approve an ACH or wire transaction using our Business Online Banking, you now have the option to approve these transactions using your mobile device. Step One: Make sure you have the service enabled To use the Mobile Approvals service you must: Be enrolled in Business Mobile Banking and using the Mobile App (not available at our Mobile Banking Website) Be assigned the Approver role by your Company Administrator Be assigned a Security Token Have wire or ACH capabilities Have access to the designated funding accounts Be assigned an ACH and/or wire transaction limit sufficient to pay the designated transactions See your company Administrator to ensure you have access to the accounts and permissions needed to use Mobile Approvals. Step Two: Create your ACH or wire transaction Nothing has changed in terms of how you create and schedule ACH batches and wire transactions. You (or a designated co-worker or employee) create these transactions by logging into a regular Business Online Banking session and following your usual process. Once they are submitted for Approval, they will not only appear in an Approval queue within Business Online Banking but also within your Business Mobile Banking App. Step Three: Approve your ACH or wire transaction 1. Log into the Business Mobile Banking App 2. Tap the Menu icon (top left) 3. Select: Approvals 4. Tap the transaction you want to approve to view more details 5. Review the details of the transaction 6. Tap Transmit to approve 7. Enter your token passcode consisting of your 8-digit PIN and the 6- digit code that displays on your security token Note For reliable results, wait until a fresh code is displayed and the timing bar is at full strength before entering your passcode 8. Tap Continue to approve the transaction Success! Your screen will display a confirmation that your transaction has been approved and submitted for processing. Retain the confirmation number for your records. Cut-Off Times and Managing your Queues To cancel or edit transaction details, sign into to Business Online Banking; these functions are not available via Mobile Approvals. ACH: Same-day and future-dated ACH transactions appear in the Today queue and can be approved before 4 p.m. (Pacific Time) and will process that night If you miss the ACH cut-off time, you won t be able to approve or cancel the ACH using the Mobile Approvals service Wires: Same-day wire transactions appear in the Today queue and can be approved before 2:30 p.m. (Pacific Time) Future-dated wire transactions appear in the Scheduled queue and can be approved at any time If you miss the wire cut-off time, you won t be able to approve or cancel the wire using the Mobile Approvals service
Business Mobile Check Deposit Mobile Check Deposit allows you to image a check and submit it for deposit to your Foundation Bank checking or savings account using your mobile device. The service is free, convenient, and easy to use. Funds Availability & Deposit Deadline Checks deposited on a business day before 4 p.m. (Pacific Time) are considered received that day and typically available for withdrawal on the second business day. Example: A deposit is submitted before 4 p.m. on Tuesday. The deposit is credited to the account on Tuesday and available for withdrawal on Thursday morning If there is an additional delay in your funds availability, the bank will notify you in writing. Step One: Make sure you have the service enabled To use the Mobile Check Deposit service you must: Be enrolled in Business Mobile Banking and using the Mobile App (not available at our Mobile Banking Website) Have the Mobile RDC (check deposit) service enabled on your Business Online Banking Profile Have an eligible deposit account enabled with Mobile RDC (check deposit) See your company Administrator to ensure you have access to the accounts and permissions needed to use Mobile Check Deposit. Step Two: Endorse your check A restrictive endorsement on the back of a check protects both you and the person who wrote the check if the check is lost or stolen. A thief is less likely to be able to deposit or cash the check elsewhere if the endorsement is specific to your Foundation Bank account. Sample Restrictive Endorsement: For Deposit Only Foundation Bank Account Number Signature/Company Stamp Step Three: Deposit the check Get ready: 1. Log into the Business Mobile Banking App 2. Place the endorsed check on a flat surface in a well lit room What to do: 1. Tap the Menu icon (top left) 2. Select: Check Deposit 3. Tap the Deposit Check button 4. Read and accept the Terms & Conditions 5. Tap the Front icon 6. Take a picture of the front of your check 7. Tap the Back icon 8. Take a picture of the back of your check 9. Enter the Amount of the check 10. Select your Deposit To account 11. Enter your E-Mail Address for a receipt 12. Tap the Continue button 13. Review the details and tap Approve Success! Your check has been received for deposit. You will receive two confirmation e-mails one to let you know the bank has received the check and another to let you know the check was processed and credited to your account. You ll be able to see it in your account on the next business day. Step Four: Take care of your check Keep your check locked away and secure for 45 to 60 days until you can see it on your next statement and you are sure you won t be asked to re-deposit it for any reason. At that time, it s safe to securely shred and dispose of the check.
Business Mobile Banking Administration As a company Administrator, there are a few steps you need to take to allow your employees to access to all of the Business Mobile Banking features available to them including reviewing account balances and history, depositing checks, sending bill payments or approving ACH and wire transactions. Enable Mobile Banking The Mobile Banking service has already been enabled for your company but you will need to enable the service for each of your employees: 2. From the Administration tab, select Manage Users 4. Click the Edit Services & Accounts link 5. Click Add on the Mobile Banking line 6. Click Save Changes at the bottom of the page Additional Entitlements Needed: Information Reporting Allows users to see account balances and activity Internal Transfer Allows users to transfer funds between accounts Enable Mobile Check Deposit Mobile Check Deposit is available to your company upon request. Once your company has been approved for the service by Foundation Bank, you will need to enable the service for each of your employees separately: 2. From the Administration tab, select Manage Users 4. Click the Edit Services & Accounts link 5. Click Add on the Mobile RDC line (RDC refers to Remote Deposit Capture) 6. Select the accounts the user is allowed to deposit to 7. Click Save Changes 8. Click Save Changes at the bottom of the page Shows you what roles your employees already have Shows you what services your employees already have Allows you to give your employee the Approver role Allows you to add a new service to your employee s profile Enable Mobile Bill Pay Bill Pay is available to your company upon request. Once the service has been added to your company profile, you will need to enable each of your employees: 2. From the Administration tab, select Manage Users 4. Click the Edit Services & Accounts link 5. Click Add on the Bill Pay line 6. Select the accounts the user is allowed to pay bills from 7. Click Save Changes 8. Click Save Changes at the bottom of the page Enable Mobile Approvals If your company has already been approved to submit ACH or wire transactions using Business Online Banking, the Mobile Approval service is automatically available to you and your employees. You still need to enable them as an Approver which will allow them to approve ACH and wire transactions via Business Online Banking and Mobile Banking: 2. From the Administration tab, select Manage Users 4. Click the Edit Roles link 5. Check the box next to Allow this user to approve transactions 6. Click Save Changes 7.
