The week consists of different lectures, workshops and presentations, in addition to various fun activities. In case of parallel sessions, the events intended for HAAGA-HELIA students and staff can be found from the left side of each day s schedule. INTERNATIONAL WEEK CULTURAL CONTACTS WORKSHOP: DANCING WORDS BEYOND NOISE AND SILENCE 11 15 th April The Dancing Words workshop is conducted in cooperation between the Peruvian poet and language teacher Renato Sandoval Bacigalupo and the Finnish language and dance teacher Pia Kiviaho-Kallio. The purpose of the workshop is to explore means of expressing yourself orally and through body language. Poems in different languages are studied and students are introduced to movement improvisation. The workshop is a part of the Cultural Contacts ENG8RM022 course (lasting 8 weeks). The three-day workshop can also be taken separately if you choose not to attend the course.
