Students can earn a fur- year Bachelr f Arts (BA) degree in Bilgy, Business, English, Histry, Human Sciety, Psychlgy, Religin, and Interdisciplinary prgrams. Fur- year Bachelr f Science (BS) degrees are ffered in Bilgy and Educatin. Students may als earn a tw- year Assciate in Arts (AA) degree with a variety f emphases. All f the degree prgrams rest n the Cre Prgram, which builds the fundatinal skills, knwledge, and perspectives with which students engage during their Bryn Athyn Cllege educatin. Every liberal arts majr requires the Cre Prgram, and the Educatin majr and the AA degree require a significant prtin f the prgram.

4 Cre Prgram The Cre Prgram serves students in three ways: it helps them develp spiritual purpse; it teaches them t think bradly and critically frm a variety f perspectives; and it empwers them with specific skills s that they may act effectively in the scieties and wrkplaces f the 21st century. Cre Gals Bryn Athyn Cllege prepares willing students t becme reflective individuals and useful citizens, cnscius f spiritual reality and respnsive t lcal, natinal, and internatinal cntexts. The Cre Prgram encurages faculty t place each subject f study within a New Church spiritual cntext. Cre Requirements In rder t receive a liberal arts Bachelr s degree frm Bryn Athyn Cllege, students must fulfill bth the prficiency requirements and the liberal arts perspectives requirements utlined belw. Students may fulfill all Cre requirements thrugh cmpleting a minimum f 46 credits. Cre Prficiency Requirements Prficiency requirements in Experiential Educatin (EE), Infrmatin Literacy (IL), Public Presentatin (PP), Quantitative Reasning (QR), Writing (W), and Language, Mathematics, r Prgramming. Students fulfill the EE, IL, PP, QR, and W requirements by attaining certain perfrmance standards in these skill areas. 5 Experiential Educatin (EE) Experiential educatin cmbines academic instructin, meaningful service, and utside- the- classrm experience t enhance students learning and civic respnsibility. Students cmplete tw curses with a certified Experiential Educatin Cmpnent (EEC), r participate in any cmbinatin f designed Experiential Educatin (EE) fferings ttaling at least ne credit. These EE fferings include the service trips, internships, service prjects, and designated EE curses listed belw. The BS degree prgram is recmmended fr thse wh plan t cntinue their educatin in graduate schl r medical schl. The BA degree is a general liberal arts prgram that prepares graduates fr a variety f career fields.

14 Admissin and Graduatin Requirements fr a BA r BS Degree in Bilgy Applicatins (available in the Cllege Office) shuld be addressed t the Bilgy Prgram Directr, Dr. Fredrik Bryntessn. Applicatin t the BS r BA Bilgy majr requires: Cmpleted at least 18 credits, with at least 7 in science. Cmpiled a cumulative GPA f at least 2.00, and at least a 2.50 GPA in science curses. Graduatin with a BS r BA Bilgy degree requires: 124 credits A cumulative GPA f at least 2.00. A grade f C- r better in all curses used t fulfill the majr curse requirements. The Master f Divinity Degree The Master f Divinity prgram is a three year prgram that leads t rdinatin in the General Church f the New Jerusalem. Reserve Officers Training Crps (ROTC) Air Frce Reserve Officers Training Crps (AFROTC) Bryn Athyn Cllege undergraduate students are eligible t participate in the AFROTC thrugh a crss- enrllment agreement with St. Jseph s University. All aerspace studies curses will be held n the St. Jseph s campus. The AFROTC prgram enables a cllege student t earn a cmmissin as an Air Frce fficer while cncurrently satisfying requirements fr a baccalaureate degree. The AFROTC prgram at St. Jseph s University ffers a curriculum leading t a cmmissin as a secnd lieutenant in the Air Frce. In the standard fur- year curriculum, a student takes the General Military Curse (GMC) during the freshman and sphmre years, attends a fur- week summer training prgram, and then takes the Prfessinal Officer Curse (POC) in the junir and senir years. Hwever, students may begin the prgram as lng as they have at least tw years left befre graduatin. In the shrtened curriculum, students will take a cmbinatin f aerspace studies curses depending n their class standing. They then attend a five- week summer training prgram and enter the POC. Army Reserve Officers Training Crps (AROTC) The military science curses are held at Temple University s main campus and are taught by the University s Department f Military Science.
