Your st Visit to GTE Online Banking On your first visit, you ll click the LOGIN Online Banking button on GTE s homepage and select the Enroll in Online Banking link. Then follow the simple steps to set up the permanent login information of your choosing. Security Our top priority is to provide excellent service and that starts with your security. As a valued member of GTE Financial, we help protect your personal information, your accounts, your identity, and ultimately, your money. Security at your Computer It s important that you take an active role in securing your personal information. Access to GTE Online Banking is granted through use of your personal Username and Password. Choose your password carefully and do not select easily-guessed clues such as your birthday or loved ones names. Keep this information in a safe place and do not share it with anyone. MyKey Once your new username and password is created, for additional online security, you will need to enroll in MyKey a way we authenticate you and a way you know you haven t been directed to a phishing site. You ll answer security questions to help us authenticate you and choose a security image that you will use to verify that the website you are logging into is authentic. Once set up, these features will appear during your login process; simply verify the requested information, then continue on to your accounts as normal.
Logging in with MyKey MyKey is just one of the added security features available through GTE Online Banking. Upon initial login, you ll be prompted to set up a series of security features including your security questions, image and phrase. Simply follow the onscreen instructions and click Enroll when complete. You ll see the Username field each time you log in to GTE Online Banking. Open your web browser and go to www.gtefinancial.org. Enter your Username, then click Login. If you are using GTE Online Banking from a different computer than usual, you may be asked to answer an additional security question. You can choose to add the computer to your list of registered computers. 4 Verify your MyKey Phrase and Image before entering your Password. If anything is incorrect, contact us immediately. Otherwise, click Sign In to access your accounts. 4
Account Balances From the Balances page, you can find a summary of all your GTE accounts. Access additional details of each account by clicking on the account description. View a list of your accounts from the Balances page. Click Balances under the Account Services menu to access this page from anywhere within GTE Online Banking. To view additional details and account history of an account, click on the account description. NOTE: Always remember to log out of GTE Online Banking when you are finished with your session. Account Details It s easy to track your account information with GTE Online Banking. Click an account name from the Balances screen and a more detailed account history will display. To view a check image, click the check image icon at the end of the transaction description. Click the linked transaction description to send us an inquiry. View transactions within a specific time frame with the Date Search option. Click the Advanced Search link for more search options. Account history is listed below and can be sorted by Date, Description, Deposits, Withdrawals or Balances. GTE Online Banking also allows for the export of account information. Click the Download tab to begin. 4 5
Payments & Transfers Quickly transfer funds from one account to another. You can process a funds transfer between your own GTE accounts, send money between your GTE account and your other financial institution, or make a payment on your loan. Click Payments & Transfers under the Account Services menu to begin a funds transfer. Select the From and To account, then enter the Amount and click Next. Verify the details and click Finish to process the transfer. Scheduled Transfers Display automatic transfers set up on your account. To modify the transfer, please contact a Member Care representative. Select Scheduled Transfers from the Account Services menu to begin. View detailed information about your scheduled transfer by clicking on a linked Source Account. Your Last Transfer Date is listed here. You can edit a transfer up to the time it is processed. 6 7
External Account Set Up You can easily set up an external account to transfer funds from your GTE account to one with another financial institution. Once set up, you will receive two deposits under $.00. You will need to verify these amounts to activate your external account transfer. Select Create External Account from the New Accounts menu to start. Enter all the necessary financial institution information, including the Nickname, ABA Routing/Transit Number and External Account Number. Click Submit to save. Friends and Family Transfer Need to send some money to your child at college or owe a friend for lunch? You can transfer up to $,000 per day to another GTE member s account with our Friends and Family Transfer feature. It s quick and easy. Select Friends & Family Transfers from the Account Services menu to start. Select the account you would like to transfer money from. Enter the recipient s Account Number, Last Name, Amount and a Personal Note. 4 Click Submit to process the transfer. 4 8 9
Checking Tools Order more checks quickly and easily right in GTE Online Banking. You can also request an official check to be mailed to the primary address on the account. Select Checking Tools from the Account Services menu. Select the link(s) of the particular account for which you would like to order checks. Follow the instructions on the next screen to place your order. Tax Documents With GTE Online Banking, you can download tax documents pertaining to your account, which can be very helpful at tax time. To view the tax documents online, you will need Adobe Reader installed on your computer. Adobe Reader is offered by Adobe as a free download at their website, www.adobe.com. Select Tax Documents from the Account Services menu to start. Select a tax document link to save the file to your computer. NOTE: These options are also available on Checking and Money Market Account Detail screens. 0
Account Downloads You can download your account information to your personal financial software. Track your expenditures, monitor your budgets, and forecast balances by downloading your daily account activity. Select Account Downloads from the Account Services menu to start. From the drop-down menu, select the date range. The system automatically defaults to a one-month time period. Select the file format. 4 Check the box in the right-hand column of the account you would like to download. Open an Account Open a savings account, checking account, or share certificate online. Select Open Additional Account from the New Accounts menu to start. Select Open Additional Account Select the type of account 5 Click Download Transactions to save the file. 4 5
Apply for a Credit Card/Loan/Mortgage Apply for a credit card, loan or mortgage online and get your answer in minutes. You can even view your loan status online. To start, click Apply for a Loan or Apply for a Mortgage, under the Loan Services menu. Select the type of loan. Click the Apply button to begin your application. Bill Pay Overview Making payments online is quick and easy with GTE Bill Pay. Access all the features of GTE Bill Pay directly through GTE Online Banking. Click Bill Pay under the Additional Services menu to get started making payments online. The Payment Center is a snapshot of all your bill payment information. Click Bill Pay from the Additional Services menu to begin. The first step in making payments is to add your Billers. Schedule payments by inputting an Amount and selecting a Pay Date under Pay Bills. 4 View Pending and Recent Payments from the Payment Center screen and modify Pending Payments as necessary. 4 4 5
DepositGO This free feature allows you to deposit checks to your account from virtually anywhere using your scanner, iphone or Android phone. Download the App to your phone or use the link in GTE Online Banking. Select Remote Deposit under the Additional Services menu. Select the account to deposit the check into. Click Log In. estatement Enrollment With estatements, you can view and download your GTE account and credit card statements online, and eliminate paper statements. You can enroll in estatements through GTE Online Banking. Select estatements under the Alerts and Subscriptions menu. Enter your email address so we can notify you when your statements are available. Read and accept the disclosures. 6 7
Popmoney Need to repay a friend for concert tickets? Have a co-worker collecting gift money for a baby shower? Forget writing checks or running to an ATM - just get their email address or cell phone number and use Popmoney, GTE s FREE person-to-person payment service. It s a fast and secure way to send and receive money. Select Bill Pay under the Additional Services menu. Click the Popmoney tab. Enter the payment information to begin your transaction. Rewards Center You receive a lot of perks with GTE! Make sure to stay on-top of all your benefits by viewing the Rewards Center in the top menu of GTE Online Banking. > Member Advantage: Qualify monthly for free money, lower rates and discounts with the Member Advantage program! Check your qualification status in the Member Advantage tab. > Member Referral Code: Earn $5! It s easy. Find your unique member referral code in the Rewards Center. Notifications Track your balances effortlessly with automatic alerts. You can be notified when your account balance is low or when you ve reached a certain savings goal in your accounts. You can also track your spending and detect possible fraud quickly with credit card and debit card alerts. Set up and manage these notifications in GTE Online Banking. Click Notifications from the Alerts and Subscriptions menu. Select how you would like to be contacted for each notification. Choose Add a new Account Balance Alert, Credit Card Alert or Debit Card Alert. Message Center While online, contacting GTE is quick and easy. We communicate with members who use GTE Online Banking through the Message Center. Upon login, GTE Online Banking will show new messages at the top of the screen. You can also securely ask us questions about your account. Select Message Center under the Alerts and Subscriptions menu to start. The number of current messages will display here. Click the message link to view details of the message. To send a general question, click here. IMPORTANT: Do not include sensitive information, such as your account number, in the email description.
Other Services Get easy, do-it-yourself access to additional services through GTE Online Banking. Under the Resources menu, you ll find convenient online calculators and forms, as well as Locations.
