MAJOR ELEMENTS OF YOUR JOB: SUMMARY: In one or two sentences, describe the primary purpose of this position. The Channel Programs Manager EMEA will manage the marketing communication of Christie s brand, products and solutions to Christie's network of partners, distributors and consultants in EMEA. Working closely with the Director of Marketing EMEA, the EMEA marketing team and representatives of the EMEA sales team, the Channel Programs Manager EMEA will manage the development of our channel marketing strategies to ensure Christie is understood to be and represented by our channel network; as a leader in helping end-user customers create and share the world s best visual experiences. The role requires a strong mix of abilities; commercial awareness, in particular recognising those factors that motivate channel to align their communication to our own. Structured and disciplined thinking, as communication to the network relies on good communication systems and the maintenance of high quality channel data. And finally the ability to negotiate and influence through either visual and written communication or direct face to face engagement of partner stakeholders, to achieve Christie's communication and business objectives. ACCOUNTABILITIES: Describe the major accountabilities against which your performance will be measured. They should be limited to accountabilities not activities. This position is accountable for marketing communications to the partner network, ensuring they are aligned with Christie's business objectives in EMEA and the various sales strategies in place across territories in the region and Christie s varied product portfolios. The role is accountable for the regionalisation of channel marketing communications into those languages supported by EMEA for business communication which currently include International English, French, German, Italian, Russian and Spanish. The role is accountable for implementing, developing and maintaining the best available channel communication systems given Christie's resources, existing (and future) commitment to CRM and other browser-based systems used for the capture of channel data. The role is accountable for the development of the Christie Privilege program and the support of related channel incentive programs, as and when they are implemented on terms to be agreed. In support of the Christie Privilege program, the Christie Channel & Communication Manager will work with the sales and finance teams to maintain an active membership roster of sufficient size to warrant the program (100+ membership). And ensure or legitimate incentive claims are recognized by the our organisation. The role is also accountable for the development and maintenance of partner network data for both partner companies and individuals of those companies in EMEA. The position is accountable for the promotion of Christie's products, services and brand via the partner network's own marketing and communication activities in EMEA. Which includes, but is not limited; to 2
websites, micro sites, e-bulletins, direct mail, corporate magazines, trade-shows, open-houses, road shows, sponsorship and promotional materials. The role is accountable for the protection of Christie's brand against misuse by Christie's partner network in EMEA. PERFORMANCE WILL BE MEASURED BY: Delivery of regular and appropriate channel communications to an agreed schedule. That includes the regionalisation of communication in languages supported by Christie EMEA. The publishing of brand and product information on partner network's websites and catalogue collateral. The number of Christie Privilege members and the level of incentives rewards claimed by members through the program. Maintaining the integrity of partner data and partner records to insure information held and distribution of marketing communication is to an audience that accurately reflects Christie's current partner network. The support of targeted marketing and channel marketing programs. The effective management and mentoring of junior roles within the EMEA marketing team, most specifically the roles of Channel Programs Coordinator EMEA and Channel Programs Specialist EMEA. RESPONSIBILITIES: What are the major duties and activities required to undertake this position? 3 Manage the maintenance and routine cleansing of partner records and data using outside service providers and working with internal support team for CRM and web marketing manager for Christie's partner portal. Create and administer marketing communication to EMEA partner network and approved endusers by e-bulletins, indexed e-bulletins, direct mail and either corporate magazine or regional EMEA magazine. Manage the introduction and development of digital asset management system for the distribution and promotion of marketing materials to the EMEA partner network and targeted tier-1 B2B media and authorised freelancers. Manage the introduction and development of lead conversion systems using the corporate approved 'Envoke' and 'Bettermail' system. To include working with the PR & Customer Relations Manager EMEA to identify white-paper, technology brief, case study and other content marketing assets suitable for use in lead conversion systems.
With support from the Director of Marketing EMEA manage the application of co-operative marketing development funds for the EMEA partner network. With the support of Sales and Finance team management, manage the application of cooperative sales development funds or margin through the Christie Privilege program and other sales or product campaign incentives. Develop and execute channel marketing programs to support the sales and business development of Christie product series and solutions via the EMEA partner network. To execute the Christie Privilege program in those territories authorised by EMEA sales management. Develop and execute communication plans to envigorate the Christie Privilege program. Administer the distribution of approved marketing support material to partner network for use in the promotion of Christie brand, Christie products and Christie marketing programs as appropriate. Meet unique or custom requests from partner network for marketing materials. Ensure all marketing materials developed or used by the partner network comply with Christie s creative and brand identity and in consideration of future branding development and positioning both as a whole and in acknowledgement of Christie s personas across various business units and product portfolios. Manage and administer the selection, purchase and distribution of marketing promotional items and giveaways to support the promotion of Christie brand, engagement of digital asset management system by the EMEA partner network and to foster positive relationships between Christie and the Christie Partner Network. Manage and mentor the roles of Channel Programs Specialist EMEA and Channel Programs Coordinator to effectively support the responsibilities of the Channel Programs Manager EMEA. Securing relevant training as required for these posts. Administering the annual classification and distribution of partner certification, to include Certified Partners, Certified Technical Partner, Authorised Service Centre and other status as developed. Administer the annual re-registration of partner login and password details to the EMEA partner portal. Provide quality control and tactical oversight over marketing concepts and projects as they impact business and sales development via the partner network. 4
Administer Christie collateral inventories across Christie's branch office in EMEA, including Christie agent representative companies in Italy and Russia to include the re-ordering of Christie collateral via www.christiecollateral.com Responsible for the accurate implementation of marketing plan activities, to budget. Other projects as assigned. Experience with software tools critical for today's creative design approaches (such as Photoshop, InDesign, CSS html and Adobe Acrobat Pro).
