At Widen, we believe digital asset management is a key part of the marketing technology ecosystem. In other words, DAM now has a seat at the big table. And, our customers realize it too.
Experts say, DAM is part of the puzzle...
And Widen is one of the service providers powering the customer experience...
Thousands of marketing technologies support the mission of saving you time and making you money.
In January 2014, we set out to better understand where we stand in and among the broader marketing technology ecosystem. We did this to better understand which technologies our customers find most critical and to identify potential integration points.
So, we identified the marketing technology sectors most closely associated with the DAM world, and conducted a survey across all of our customers.
What we did? Survey delivered to 236 global admins 1 main contact for each customer across a mix of roles - marketing, creative, library science, IT Seeking answers to 13 key questions Including multiple choice and open-ended options Received responses from 51 customers No incentive provided
What questions did we ask? * 1. What Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system does your organization use? 2. What Marketing Automation/Integrated Marketing system does your organization use? 3. What Web Content Management (WCM) system does your organization use? 4. What Enterprise Content Management (ECM) system does your organization use? 5. What E-commerce platform does your organization use? 6. What Email Marketing tools does your organization use? 7. What Communities platform does your organization use? 8. If Widen were to integrate with any of these technologies, which integration would you benefit from most? *Questions provided popular solutions in each category, plus the option to write-in current solution used.
