United Way has identified that there has been a decline rate from donors amounts over the past recent years. When questioned about this behavior, donors have indicated their uncertainty about how their gifts are allocated to community services, which lead to revenues of gifts and investments trending downward. United Way needs a mechanism through which it can consistently communicate with donors and increase contributions. This application will create a social network like feel and inform donors of the organization s activities and successes. The proposed mobile application will allow United Way s to meet both of these key objectives and improve the quality of social networking for donors by mobilizing communication.
