WEDNESDAY, MARCH 09 Depart from Kansas City, KS, flight Delta 3:08 pm THURSDAY, MARCH 10 Arrival in the morning in Rio de Janeiro, at 11:43 am. Daniel Rosenthal, your guide during the whole trip, will meet you at the airport and will take you to have a welcome drink on the Copacabana Beach! After lunch check in at hotel. In the afternoon you can relax on the beach from the long trip. At 5:00 pm visit of Sugarloaf with wonderful sunset over Rio (if there is good weather). Afterwards Dinner. FRIDAY, MARCH 11 9:00 am half-day city tour with visit at Cristo-Statue, Sambodromo, passing at world largest stadium Maracana and the charming quarter Santa Tereza. Lunch during the city tour. At night, 7:30pm, dinner at Churrascaria Carretão Ipanema. SATURDAY, MARCH 12 Day free in Rio de Janeiro. There are several options to spent the Day: expl. Visit at Botanic Garden, one of the oldest and richest of the world. Or have a Jeep Ride in the Urca s Hill, Chinese View (From where you can have a wounderful view over the city), Emperor s Table, Convent of São Bento, Confeitaria Colombo-a famous cafeteria, or Just relax on the beach. Your tour guide Will help you to chose and book the trips for you. This day lunch and dinner is up to each one. SUNDAY, MARCH 13 After breakfast check out, 07:00 am transfer out to the airport of Santos Dumont. Flight with AZUL 09:06am/ 11:12am, flight from Rio de Janeiro(Santos Dumont) to Porto Alegre. You go directly to Passo Fundo (ca 187 miles). Lunch on the road. MONDAY, MARCH 14 After breakfast around 08:30 will leave to visit the Brazilian agricultural fair EXPODIRETO in Nao Me Toque. There we will meet with important farmers and no-tillers like Dirceu Gassen, Prof. Telmo Amado, specialist in Precision Farming and Carbon sequestration as well as Ivo Mello, President of CAAPAS and Juliane Borges from No-till Magazine at the Casa do Plantio Direto (NO TILL HOUSE- Meeting Point at the fair). You have the possibility to visit the stands of various producers of no-till equipment like the Semeato.

TUESDAY, MARCH 15 After breakfast, 08:00am, departure to visit an amazing farm with soybean and corn plantantion. If we have good luck with the weather, we will participate at harvesting and planting with the no-till system. Dirceu Gassen will be with us this day. WEDNESDAY, MARCH 16 After breakfast check out. 08:00 am transfer to Porto Alegre by comfortable coach (aprx 187 miles), passing to the City Center to get to know the Municipal Market of Porto Alegre, a tipical brazilian market, where you have lunch.3pm transfer to the airport, 4:54pm/6:04pm flight with AZUL to Curitiba. Transfer to Ponta Grossa (75 miles). Dinner at Hotel. THURSDAY, MARCH 17 After breakfast, departure at 08:00am to visit the University of Ponta Grossa with Prof. Juca Sá. Visit begins at 08:30am. In the afternoon, at 2:00pm, visit at Fundação ABC. You will get to know their work during a lecture with one of their directors. Afterwards you will visit the experimental fields. Dinner at restaurant La Gondola. FRIDAY, MARCH 18 Breakfast at hotel, 07:30am departure to Palmeira. 09:00am visit at Nono Pereira s Farm in Palmeira, who is one of the pioneers of No Till in this region. Afterwards we will have lunch at Restaurante Girassol. In the afternoon we will go to Araucária (aprx. 45 miles) where you get to know two typical small farms, so called Sitios. The region of Ponta Grossa is characteristic for family farming. At night transfer back to Ponta Grossa. Dinner at pizzaria near your hotel. SATURDAY, MARCH 19 08:30 After breakfast departure to Carambeí. 09:00am visit at Frank Dijkstra no-till pioneer in Carambei on his farm. 11:30am Lunch at Carambeí at Gondola Grill Restaurant. 1:00 pm Transfer to Curitiba (75 miles) 4:22pm-5:40 pm flight with Webjet to Foz do Iguacu. Transfer to hotel. At 8:00pm dinner at city center of Foz do Iguaçu at nice restaurant near hotel. After, return to Hotel. Hotel Continental Inn - Foz do Iguaçu SUNDAY, MARCH 20 8:30 am Visit of amazing waterfalls on the brazilian side with lunch at restaurant Porto Canoas on the top of the falls. After lunch, we are going to visit the world s largest hydroelectric powerstation Itaipu. The visit begins at 3:30pm. After, return to Hotel. Dinner at Hotel. Hotel Continental Inn - Foz do Iguaçu MONDAY, MARCH 21 7:00 am Breakfast and check out. Transfer to airport. Flight 8:50am/9:50 am from Foz do Iguaçu to Londrina. Transfer and check in at hotel. 12:00 pm Leave for lunch at Fishing Park with fresh fish from their own creation.

2:00 pm Visit at Embrapa Soja with technical lecture about Embrapa s work with researcher. Afterwards time for discussion. On return to Londrina, 5:00pm, we will pass at John Deer Dealer - Martin Stremlow, who will show us his company and explain about how dealers market works in Brazil. 8:00 pm we will have dinner with Herbert Bartz at Villa Fontana to have a good chat with him, the Pioneer and Expert of no-tillage. Hotel Boulevard Higienópolis - Londrina TUESDAY, MARCH 22 After breakfast at 08.00 am we will leave to visit IAPAR and their installations. We will join a short presentation about the institute and their work and get to know their experimental fields. Between 11:30am/12:00am departure to Rolândia (ca 16 miles). Lunch at Holandesa Restaurant. After lunch, at 2:30pm, visit of no-tiller Klaus Ranke on his farm. Afterwards, transfer back to Londrina. 07:30pm departure to dinner at the beerhouse Fábrica 1. Hotel Boulevard Higienópolis - Londrina WEDNESDAY, MARCH 23 After breakfast, check out. 8.30 am transfer to airport. 10:20/11:00 a direct flight to Cuiaba with TRIP. Check in at hotel Intercity and lunch at Churrascaria Furnas. At 2:00pm we will visit FAMATO Federation of Agriculture in Mato Grosso and assist a presentation about Agribusiness in the state of Mato Grosso with following discussion. Transfer back to hotel. 7:00 pm dinner at Peixaria Canoas (Fishrestaurant) Hotel Intercity - Cuiaba THURSDAY, MARCH 24 8:00 am Departure to Campo Verde (Green Field), visit at Chapada dos Guimarães (40 miles). Visits of waterfalls and curious rock formations carved by nature. You can appreciate the extraordinary view on the frontier of the waters, one going to Amazon, the other going to south. 11:00am visit at the Agroforestry farm, with organic production. During lunch you can prove their own products. 1:30pm, departure to visit the farm from Bom Futuro Group a huge farm with soy production and cotton plantation industry as well as seed production. 7:00 dinner at Lorenzeti Restaurant. After, return to hotel. Hotel Pequeno Mundo - Campo Verde FRIDAY, MARCH 25 7:00 am Today you Will get to know another big farm with no-till production of soy-beans, cotton and corn. Lunch on the farm. Lunch at Campo Verde. 3:00 pm return to Cuiaba. Hotel Intercity - Cuiaba SATURDAY, MARCH 26 In the morning you have some free time for shopping souvenirs. 10:00am transfer to the airport. 1:25pm Flight back from Cuiaba via Brasília to Kansas/US SUNDAY, MARCH 27 Arrival at Kansas City at 8:43am
