The University Centre for Business Management (UCBM) - Fondazione CUOA is represented by Prof. Ricardo Pitelli de Britto, director of the International Business School Americas. UCBM offers students from institutions of higher education (undergraduates and graduates) the opportunity to attend intensive management courses in Italy. These courses take place in January and July each year and cover interesting topics for young professionals. The International Business School Americas is a school focused on coordinating and promoting international educational courses for students, young professionals and executives. Operating since 2003, every year 1,500 students from all over the world enroll and successfully participate in courses abroad. Students are supported by an extensive scholarship program, covering 70% of the expenses of the chosen course. We welcome you to apply and participate in our courses. Prof. Ricardo Pitelli de Britto Doctor in Management from FEA/USP Coordinator of International Programs Course description The courses are aimed at undergraduates and recent graduates in Business Administration or students from other fields with an interest in understanding the foundations of success of European companies along with developing their management skills. The courses are held in English. This together with extra activities, allows the student to get a profound knowledge of European affairs. During the course the students will have the opportunity to visit the World Trade Organization, the most important organization of international business of our time. The goal is to offer the students an overview of contemporary topics on their own chosen theme along with a vital international experience. The courses take place over three weeks and are full-time studies, Monday to Thursday, from 9 am to 6 pm. To ensure close contact between the professors and students, classes are composed of groups from 15 to 30 participants.

Page 2 Intensive courses in Business Administration in Europe Our courses, equivalent to a graduate extension, were structured to take place between the ordinary school semesters. A program tailored to your needs The programs, equivalent to a postgraduate extension, have been structured to take place between the ordinary school semesters. This allows students to extend their expertise and participate in an international program without having to interrupt their ongoing studies. The certificate is awarded to students by their attendance to classes. There is no final examination, instead the students present seminars and weekly assignments. The goal is to structure an interactive and concrete program in which students actually become involved in the development of practical activities. Page 4 Intensive courses in Business Administration in Europe Course outline The University Centre for Business Management - Fondazione CUOA is one of the most active centers of management training in Europe. Founded in 1957, it is a business school that operates with support from the universities of Padua, Venice, Trento and Udine. Located in Italy, teaches programs in English for students from all over Europe and the world. It is a private foundation, nonprofit, which supports the admission of students from emerging countries. Our goal is to offer international education with a focus on the reality of international students. Aware of the difficulties for international students to attend a program abroad, we provide a set of documents and information to students, easing the process of organizing the trip. Courses in relevant areas of Business Administration, focused on the reality of international business In short, you will receive: Texts of background reading in order to complete their preparation for classes, with several weeks in advance; Invitations to attend e-meetings with the group, sharing information and meeting the people who will take the course; Guidance on how to book accommodation at very affordable prices (see section Estimates of Expenditures on page 4); Suggestions for tours, sightseeing, shopping and visits in their free weekends.
