1. Overview The SafeQ Terminal provides a compact, fast, and easy-to-use interface for users to access Toshiba MFP to perform print and copy operations. The terminal has a touch keypad for easy user interaction and a build-in Card Reader for PETRONAS ID card identification. Users are able to authenticate their printing activities by badging their PETRONAS ID card or by entering a PIN on the SafeQ Terminal. Illustration Instructions 1. This is the SafeQ Terminal for Toshiba MFP. 2. Badge your PETRONAS ID card on the SafeQ Terminal OR Enter your temporary PIN on the SafeQ Terminal s keypad. 2. Register Your PETRONAS ID Card To register, send your first print job after the SafeQ Terminal has been activated; the printer s server will automatically send you an email that contains the card activation code. Note: You are only required to register your PETRONAS ID card on the SafeQ Terminal ONCE with the card activation code during your first print job. Illustration Instructions 1. Select any document to Print. 2. Select Printer with name PETRONAS - EPS 3. Click Print & walk towards the nearest Toshiba MFP that has the SafeQ Terminal. EPS SafeQ Terminal User Guide 5
4. The printer server will automatically send you an email containing the Card Activation Code as illustrated. 5. Badge your PETRONAS ID card on, again. 6. SafeQ Terminal is ready to accept your card activation code when you hear a BEEP sound and the Orang light goes upwards as illustrated. 7. Enter the Card Activation Code (6-digit code) that was provided in the email sent to you. 8. The LED light will turn on sequentially as illustrated to show that authentication is in progress 9. The Green light indicates that you have successfully registered your PETRONAS ID card. 10. You are now able to use your PETRONAS ID card for future Print Release* and Copy Function*. *Print Function To release or collect your print job *Copy Function To perform photocopy EPS SafeQ Terminal User Guide 6
3. Submit a Print Job Illustration Instructions 1. Open the document you want to print. 2. Click on File, and then select Print. 3. Select Printer with name PETRONAS - EPS 4. Click Print to perform printing. EPS SafeQ Terminal User Guide 7
4. Release or Collect your Print Job Illustration Instructions 1. Walk to the nearest Toshiba MFP that has the SafeQ Terminal. 2. Click on the Energy Saver Button, if printer is in Energy Saving / Standby mode. 3. Follow instruction on printer display as illustrated and badge your PETRONAS ID card on the Y-soft Terminal. 11. 13. The Green light as illustrated indicates that there are print job(s) stored in the server and is ready to be released or collected. 14. Press on the PRINT icon to release print job(s). 15. You will be automatically logged out once all your print jobs are completed. Note: Badge ID card again on terminal as illustrated should you need to perform copy functions. 5. Use Copy Function Illustration Instructions 1. Walk to the nearest Toshiba MFP that has the SafeQ Terminal. 2. Click on the Energy Saver Button, if printer is in Energy Saving / Standby mode. 3. Follow instruction on printer display as illustrated and badge your PETRONAS ID card on the Y-soft Terminal. 4. The Orange light indicates that the MFP is ready to use. 5. 6. The Green light for Copy icon as illustrated, indicates that the MFP is ready for Copy function. Note: You can perform copy jobs as long as the colour indicator for Copy icon shows GREEN. OR EPS SafeQ Terminal User Guide 11
Illustration Instructions 7. Press on the COPY icon to perform Copy function. 8. Note: The original method to perform photocopy of documents remains unchanged. 9. Select number of copies on the MFP s panel. 10. Press on the Start button. Note: The original method to perform photocopy of documents remains unchanged. 11. To log out once the print job is completed, select either one of the following options: i. Press on the X button ii. Press on the OK button i. Badge your PETRONAS ID card on the SafeQ Terminal. 6. Users Without PETRONAS ID Card: Use Permanent PIN The purpose of the permanent PIN is to allow contractors/ contract staffs, not issued with a PETRONAS ID card to perform their printing activities. Note: Permanent PIN will be provided upon completion and approval of FORM 501. PIN expires at the end of contractual period for contractors. Illustration Instructions 1. Walk to the nearest Toshiba MFP that has the SafeQ Terminal. 2. The Orange light indicates that the MFP is ready to use. 3. Enter your personal permanent PIN on the keypad, and then press OK To perform: Print release Refer to section 4.4 to 4.5 Copy Refer to section 5.4 to 5.5 4. 7. Use Temporary PIN to Perform Print Release and Copy Function The purpose of the temporary PIN is to allow users to perform their printing activities when they do not have their PETRONAS ID card with them. Note: Temporary pin is generated by user through the dashboard. Refer to Section 8.1, 8.2 & 8.7 for further details. Not applicable for Permanent Pin users. Illustration Instructions 1. Walk to the nearest Toshiba MFP that has the SafeQ Terminal. 2. The Orange light indicates that the MFP is ready to use. 3. Enter your personal temporary PIN on the keypad, and then press OK To perform: Print release Refer to section 4.4 to 4.5 Copy Refer to section 5.4 to 5.5 Note: To generate temporary PIN, refer to step 6.5 4. 8. How to Use The Dashboard 1. Launch Internet Explorer and type in http://10.14.17.68:8080 2. Enter your PETRONAS ID/Username and Password to log in. 3. At the Dashboard tab, users are able to view the Print Jobs as well as the jobs status. Your Print Jobs EPS SafeQ Terminal User Guide 15

7. At the Dashboard tab, Click on Generate PIN to i. Issue Temporary PIN For PETRONAS ID card holders who do not have their card with them. Temporary Pin is required to access print / copy functions. Expires in 1 day. EPS SafeQ Terminal User Guide 20
8. Or click on Generate Card Activation Code to i. Issue Activation Code For replacement PETRONAS ID card users. Activation code is required to register new card. (Only 1 time activation for each existing/ replacement card is required). Once activated, badge ID card on terminal to access printer functions. EPS SafeQ Terminal User Guide 21
