Key Responsibilities and Carry out Policy formulation, Research, Analysis, and Advocacy. Advise the CEO and Management on strategic Policy matters. Undertake Policy Analysis supporting the review of the Good Governance Principles. Formulate Policy proposals from Research and Policy Dialogues, Coordinate and monitor key Policy issues. Draft reports, working papers, recommendations and briefing notes to the Management, and Board of Governors on policy issues. Establish and develop professional contacts with officials from Rwanda and International organizations as well as the academia in the field of Policy formulation and implementation. Organize events, meetings and disseminate Policy related information and documents to colleagues across RGB and external partners. Liaise with other institutions whose mandates are similar to -Advanced computer literacy and proficiency, especially related to professional office software packages (Microsoft Office and graphics); -Fluent in Kinyarwanda, English and/or French. Report to Board of Directors Conduct regular and periodic internal audits of all financial and programmatic activities of RGB with a high degree of independence and integrity; Responsible for planning reviews, preparing and reviewing papers, drafting Internal Audit reports and presentations of results to senior management; Manage the entire audit process from planning, executing and reporting on Financial and Operational Audit reviews and evaluation of internal controls to ensure cost-effectiveness in financial operations; Ensuring that all timeframes are adhered to by the office of internal audit; Keeping in liaison with the Government Auditor General s office to ensure that RGB financial operations are in line with the Government procedures and guidelines; Conduct any reviews or tasks requested by the Board of Directors, the audit committee, Managing Director or finance director, provided such reviews and tasks do not compromise the independence or objectivity of the internal audit function; French.
