Original Sheet 7 Z.3 Miscellaneous Equipment (Cont d) Z.3.4 Special Feature Telephone (Type B, July 22, 1982) Z.3.4.1 Trendline Telephones The Trendline telephone is a compact telephone with a rotary dial-in-hand set. This type of telephone may be furnished subject to a nonrecurring charge of $15.00, plus an additional monthly rate of $1.25. This nonrecurring charge is over and above other rates and charges applicable under this Tariff. Trendline telephones have provision for a lighted dial. A transformer connected to ordinary household electrical service, provided by the customer, is necessary to light the dial in a Trendline telephone. At the subscriber s option, this may be furnished at an additional monthly rate of $.50. If the installation of this transformer necessitates a second premises visit, the charges applicable to the installation of an extension station as specified in Section D of this Tariff will apply. Z.3.4.2 Speakerphone A. A speakerphone set allows the user to carry on a regular telephone conversation without the necessity of holding a handset. In addition to a handset type telephone, this arrangement includes a microphone, volume controls, signal lamp (either built in or on a separate adapter unit) and a loudspeaker. The handset portion of this unit may be used in the usual manner if desired. B. The following rates apply for speakerphone equipment and are in addition to the regular monthly rate for the class of service furnished. Monthly 1. Speakerphone $5.00 C. Z.3.6.2 Extra cords may be obtained at the following nonrecurring installation charge 15 Cords $10.00 Z.3.6.3 The Telephone Company may replace worn or damaged extra length cords at its option, or at the request of the subscriber, and may apply a charge for such renewals equal to the rates applicable to the initial installation. Z.3.11 Data Coupler (Type B, December 6, 1982) Due to the wire variation in cost and function of data couplers, monthly rent will be applied as follows: Z.3.11.1 For data couplers requiring no associated power supply, 1/36th of the cost of the coupler, per month.
