DOT Youth Ministry Formation Program Curriculum: The curriculum for the program will blend current youth ministry theory and practical aspects of developing a comprehensive youth ministry program. The entire curriculum will be covered in 10 sessions over a 2 year period (this includes one retreat each year). The foundation for all sessions will be Renewing the Vision: A Framework for Catholic Youth Ministry as well as Leadership for Catholic Youth Ministry: A Comprehensive Resource. For each curriculum area the candidate will: 1. Read and reflect on the assigned readings to prepare for the upcoming session 2. Attend all formal sessions which you have registered for 3. Participate in discussions with fellow participants in the program. Methods of Participation & Registration If you register in advance for all 5 Sessions of the current year, we will provide you with all the necessary books used throughout the courses at no extra cost ($75 value) o The enrollment Fee for Year 1 or Year 2 is $175.00 per individual You may register for each Session individually. Books used during the sessions are not included in the Individual Session cost but can be purchased at the any of the Sessions. Lunch will be provided at all Sessions for registered participants All priests, deacons, and sisters may attend free of charge.
