1 ONLINE MINISTRY FORMATION PROGRAM Course 1 Ministry: Call and Response This course will help participants explore the call to ministry, the gifts of the minister, and the need for a balanced life required for responding to the call and meeting the challenges of ministry. This information will be situated in the context of church documents on evangelization and youth ministry. 2 Course 3 Theological Foundations: Revelation and Ministry This course will be a study of the basic elements of Christian revelation, including God s self-disclosure, the human response of faith, and the culmination of revelation in Jesus Christ, in the context of pastoral ministry with youth. Trinity, biblical interpretation, and worship, evangelization, justice, and theological reflection in light of Scripture and Tradition Human existence, nature, grace, sin, and redemption Christology, the paschal mystery, and discipleship : Theology of revelation : Theology of God, Trinity, Jesus Christ, and the human person 4.2: Implements principles of evangelization Course 4 Echoing our Faith with Young People This course will enable participants to explore the aims, principles, processes, and methods of adolescent catechesis and their utilization in the implementation of effective programs. Participants will plan and lead prayer and worship experiences for the community. The church s relationship with other Christian faith traditions will be examined, both historically and in present day practice. Participants will gain an understanding of how the theology of the church has evolved as they articulate their own understanding of ecclesiology.
